Thought we’d support the new owners of our village chippy and had battered sausage and chips for lunch. Absolutely delicious and plentiful portion. Chips perfectly cooked as was the battered sausage. Came in a nice little box that held the heat well and was sturdy to eat from. Can’t wait to try the fish next week. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awful fish chips ! Worst ever ! we come to you regularly and do disappointed tonight The fish was grey and not white and the batter was not cooked and soggy Had to throw most of it away This must be of a consistent standard to charge those prices. Awful. Probably the worst fish and chips ever. We were staying locally and went for Haddock and large chips. The large chips were hardly a regular, let alone a large, a rip off for £4.50. We opted to to get a regular too as the large were no way enough for 2. The chips were more like scraps than chips, I would say around 20% were chips and the rest were scraps or leftovers, also tasted greasy. The haddock was dry and grey and the batter was soggy and uncooked. For a fish and chip shop so close to the sea this was a real disappointment, avoid at all costs.
