"My favourite restaurant. Ming of the Avenue (Mings) is pretty much the best Chinese restaurant in the area (if not the world). Sounds like an exaggeration I grant you but the food, service and people are fantastic. I've been going there pretty much my whole life (I'm 28) and have never had a bad meal. I recently went to Hong Kong too, and have to say the food is comparable, at least, if not better! Mings is run by Sue (abley assisted by her sister Lyn) and it is such a friendly place. We feel totally at home there, as do friends who go once in a while, and people who had never been before. I don't think I could tell you what to order everything I've had is fantastic! Definitely a place to try, and love! As a side dish, the waterchestnuts and garlic (not on the menu) is fabulous! Pretty good on the wallet too for me and my partner dinner for two (including wine) is about £30 cheaper than Pizza Express. Can't wait to go back again next week, and the week after! WOO!"

We've been eating there for what must be 30 years. Never had a bad experience. Our most recent visit 2 weeks ago was to celebrate a family member's birthday. The food was the usual excellent standard. The bill was more than reasonable too for 5 of us eating and drinking.

This restaurant never disappoints. We had a seafood set meal and the flavours were wonderful! Customer service is consistently good here, whether they are busy or quiet The staff are always quick and attentive. Whenever we are in the area we always go to this restaurant, excellent!
