Millside - Carte

Every time I come over to Ballymena I book in at Millside, one of my favourite places to eat. Never a disappointment. Will be back again soon.

Wonderful restaurant. I go back again and again. Food is fantastic and very reasonably priced.Good food good service. Very friendly and helpful.

We recently visited this so called restaurant. We were very disappointed with the food we ordered and extremely disappointed with the service we received. This place is no more than a glorified cafe that charges restaurant prices. take your money somewhere else.

We as a large group of 25 had a fabulous meal for my husbands 60th birthday ..yes we pre ordered as you can guess it made it easier for the staff ...the food was absolutely amazing ...everyone commented on how good it was.. The staff were so accommodating and the service was great..I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a night out ..well done to all staff for a very enjoyable evening ..thank you

We enjoyed a triple birthday celebration with extended family on a Saturday afternoon at Millside. We arrived a differing times, yet that was not an issue for the staff. We all enjoyed our main course dishes, desserts and coffees. Every single dish was delicious. I had the Bang Bang Chicken with half rice and half chips. Followed by profiteroles which were beautifully presented as well as being very tasty. The staff are so hospitable and go out of their way to ensure that everyone's needs are met. My wife and I called here on the recommendation of a friend. We wanted a more substantial lunch than just our usual sandwich. She had the Chicken Maryland with garlic wedges which had a large chicken fillet with sausage, bacon, pineapple and banana fritters as well as peas and a wee bite of salad. There was a generous portion of large potato wedges doused in garlic butter. I had the breaded chicken goujons with chilli potato wedges which offered 5 large goujons with a wee bite of salad and a generous portion of large wedges doused in chilli sauce. This was excellent food at very reasonable prices and offered a very substantial meal. Very highly recommended!!

Young girls are very unprofessional towards male partners, didn’t acknowledge females of the party at the start, or giving menus etc continued to stare intently at males any time at table. The males felt very uncomfortable and after tonight my partner doesn’t want to return. We ate in both restaurants this month, Sat 13th and 31st Jan, same experiences with two young waitresses with blonde hair. It has been commented in our work circles and wider friends of similar experiences. It’s a pity as the food is beautiful but just a very strange atmosphere and when working professionals, it is nice to enjoy an evening out. We have never experienced that level of unprofessionalism elsewhere. I rarely...

I had heard about this place a lot and we went for dinner. Being minded to save money we chose the 'early bird ' menu, and we were not alone in this as the place was packed. We had booked and got a table upstairs. We were, however, sort of squashed into the corner due to a very large group beside us, but at least a partition divider had been placed between them and us. It also seems there is not a great deal of ventilation in the place and although we were beside an open window, it had to be shut given the flies and – more annoyingly – wasps coming in that were hovering around us.
