"This is a very beautiful pub, with great countryside veiws, when sitting outside on the patio. Inside is nicely decorated too. The service was amazing, from the table staff, the bar staff too the glass collectors. The food was delicious. The prawn and calamari stater were amazing. My Only complaint would be the small portion size. The main course of a traditional Sunday roast was also very nice, with plenty of fresh steamed veg, and a large yorkshire pudding. Also, there is a good selection of draft and bottled beers. And soft drinks. We had a great late afternoon Sunday meal. Thank you."

"Just had what can only be described as an utterly brilliant Sunday lunch for mother's day at the fish at wixford. Professional, friendly service throughout. Food was excellent, we had roast beef, and also fish and chips all meals were very well cooked, and quite possibly some of the nicest we've ever had at a pub. New owners have done a great job with tasteful interior design (much improved from previous years). We will definitely be returning soon. Just how a pub and restaurant should be run."

"I've already reviewed this cafe, so you'll all know that it's a local Gem, but I wanted to mention the selection of cakes that the owner/chef makes on site. Gary keeps the display cabinet full of absolutely delicious range of cakes and bakes. These are a perfect companion to the coffee and teas prepared by the lovely team at Botany Bay Café. My wife and I recently tried Gary's Mango and Passion fruit cake and were absolutely delighted with the flavour and texture. Anyone visiting the Botany Bay Nursery should definitely take the time to treat themselves at the café."
