"I really do like cafe rouge, but for many different reasons! Its the first place i went on a date with my partner so it has special meaning for me. We had a great time here and i would recommend it as somewhere to take someone new to get to know them. Its not pretentious in anyway and it is cosy, relaxing and romantic. The coffee here is delicious, just the right strength and the aroma smells divine as you walk in. They do a mean breakfast and lunch and dinner is also delicious. Prices are average for this type of place so no surprises!"

"Went there for a roast dinner. Food was good, decent portions and good variety. Service was also good, we had a brand new server but she managed to offer a good service. A couple of issues which could happen anywhere, but a main issue was our inquiry about the side dishes that come with the roast, because they hadn't arrived. We were immediately told we would have to order them extra by one waitress, while another was bringing them to our table. It is not the delay that bugged me, it is the attitude of immediately trying to add something to the bill without checking (menus clearly state that roasts come with side dishes). Atmosphere is also good, a lot of people but not chaotic/dirty or loud. A family was hogging the fireplace area with children scattering toys and sitting in three different tables (other than theirs), which is inconsiderate from the parents part. They seemed to have had some issue with billing. Parking was easy, location convenient. Only issue, is the prices...we paid 80 pounds for two people... We got two of the two course roasts, one dessert (to share), one large and one small coke, a coffee and one glass of wine.. Not in London but Sussex.. also there are no prices in the desserts, if someone wants to have extra.... Pricing is of course clearly indicated on menus so it was our choice to dine there."

"Had a few friends round here for an evening meal to celebrate my 60th birthday. I knew it would be exactly what I wanted and I wasn't disappointed. My guests had never been here before, and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the smiley service. We all enjoyed the traditional pub atmosphere, and it is within a short walk from home, so perfect! Thank you for helping to make my special day a lovely one."

"tonight. I really had the best experience to eat that I had since I suffered with my heavy nuss allergy. eating was beyond our expectations, we could not harm both the visual presentation of each teller and the taste. from this world. all the workers were very accommodating, they were paying attention to my mother with a broken foot, and were also very attentive with my allergy. After giving them an idea what I wanted, they then recognized me that they have secured a separate wiping station to provide my allergenic, fresh gloves when handling food and to review us regularly to ensure that our experience was beyond and beyond. the curly tavern has certainly achieved this, and if I had so more friends and family, I will always recommend the youngs and girls to bring the power to this facility!"

"We had our 25th wedding anniversary in the Hayloft yesterday. Everything was perfect. The afternoon tea was wonderful, especially the home made sausage rolls which were a revelation! The staff were attentive and friendly and the venue was ideal. I can't compliment the Talbot highly enough they really made our celebration one to remember and all our guests felt the same. Thank you."
