Massimos At The Log Cabin

Heard great things about the food in Massimos from friends and family so had to go and try for myself. Staff were welcoming and attentive from the start, the meal was delicious, couldn`t find a fault.

Visited on Sun night , Firstly dont let the outside put you off . Food was super enjoyed by us all . Staff were friendly and very attentive. I loved the scallops for starters they were amazing. Deffo worth a try.

Saw an advert on Facebook and popped along to visit as reviews suggested food was lovely. I have to agree to the same, the staff and food we're lovely, great value too for 2 course meal and we will definitely be back.

Amazing Summer Menu. The Salmon Starter is outstanding. We are so lucky to have such an amazing restaurant so closely to home. Consistently good and the team looking after their customers are 2nd to none. They always go above and beyond to accommodate and their food is superb!

We were in the bar area watching the football and fancied some food after it. I popped in and spoke to Liz and she managed to squeeze us in after the game. First class in every way yet again and the place is second to none. There’s not many restaurants that you can’t fault and this is certainly one of them. Thanks again!

My family had Easter Sunday Lunch at Massimo's. It was a bit of a mixed bag. We all had brushetta as a starter. It was a 3 out of 5. Nothing to get excited about. Lasagna a 4, garlic bread with it 5. Beef a 4. My wife gave her lamb a 5. Now at this point I was somewhat disappointed. However all 3 desserts were a 5. Pictures are attached. The coffee walnut cake doesn't look like much but was surprisingly really good. The cheesecake and chewy Meringue were also I triumph. So it was a mixed bag but the 3 excellent desserts tip it into 5 star.

First time at Massimos at The Log Cabin. To be honest, we were not expecting much, but how wrong were we? From start to finish, the staff were brilliant! We met a couple who have been going since their wee girl was born and she helps set tables after she eats with her parents! The restaurant is like a big living room and it’s a unique and great atmosphere! The food? Oh yes the food! I had scallops to start, penne arabiatta with chicken and amazing homemade lemon ginger cheesecake! The better half had prawn salmon cocktail, chicken broccoli and then ice cream to finish! We can honestly say we've ate in a LOT of Italian restaurants in Glasgow and Massimos is one of the best! Bravo Massimos!

We visited today for lunch, two adults and our son who is 7. We hadn’t booked a table but Liz kindly said we could sit in the bar area which was actually perfect as Alfie got to watch some football as we waited! Liz was amazing because I had mentioned the I was doing slimming world and she was amazing at recommending things that wouldn’t be too detrimental to my diet!!! My other half had the mussels. Followed by the streak pie which he said was the best steak pie ever! I had the minestrone soup followed by chicken Arrabbiata pasta both lovely.
