"Having had a wonderful meal at this restaurant one evening I decided to go back again the next night. On both occasions I asked them to recommend meals and some local wine and on both occasions they did not disappoint. The meal was perfectly cooked and the wine was first class (but all modestly priced). Try some of the Sauvignon Blanc which is grown here in the region. I know it's very much a popular wine but this was especially fresh and light. It is clear to see why this restaurant is so popular and I would highly recommend arriving early if you want to sit outside on a warm evening as tables are very much in demand. I'd like to make a special mention to the lady that served me (wish I had asked her name but she welcomed me back with a handshake which I thought was very polite). Good service is as much an essential ingredient of a restaurant as is the food and the ambience. I'd highly recommend you visit here if coming to Badenweiler - indeed it's worthy of a special journey."

Believe the other reviews, this is a great spot to go dining. The food is very rich, but I suppose that's authentically German. Even their veggie options were delicious, which is actually hard to come by in this pork-loving country!

Great place to go eat and look at all the things they offer and have! Foodwise very traditional and very fresh and very local. Wines nicely served in a stone karaffe and for a very sharp price, only negative there are not to many warm main courses on the menu, only 2 but all other things will give you a full tummy too

We had an absolutely delightful dinner on the charming back terrace. We both went to the specials for the day with articles. Our server Victoria took the time to explain all the elements, as this part of the menu was only in German. Soups, main course and wine were all excellent. Just wish we had room to try the desserts that looked great.

Ce restaurant est à recommander. Nous sommes déjà aller manger plusieurs fois dans ce restaurant. Les plats sont excellents et de bonne qualité et le service irréprochable. Les prix sont correctes et la terrasse très agréable. Si vous voulez manger sur la terrasse, il faut penser à réserver car elle est toujours complète. Je conseille cet endroit.

the greeting was very warm and as a single guest one was put to a table with other single guests. the order was very fast as well.The carved (two smaller carved) was well roasted, maybe still a little too fat. the bratkartoffeln tasted very good and well roasted - a little more spice would have done well. the served wein (blueburgunder) was typical of the region and fits very well to the food.

we have been coming to this cozy winzerstube for years at visit in the brand-gräflerland. so far has never disappointed us; favorit is the delicious beetle, but also all the other dishes we have tried were very delicious. there are also daily changing dishes, so that even with multiple-actors there is no long time. if you want to be sure to get a table, you should definitely book; so far it was still full every evening.In summer the limited space in the hof is very popular; here a reservation is absolutely necessary; even against 17.30 clock, people had to go back again, as all the places were occupied or reserved. the service is efficient, competent and fast, the prices reasonable.
