"in general on a wonderful summer evening we had reserved a table for 3 people. the chefin also brought us the menu which was very discernible. about 6-7 feet, 7-8 heads and 2 desserts. this shows that it is freshly cooked and there is something for everyone. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change something at the moment. at the sainling with apricots and pfifferlingen our son wanted to recommend another supplement, as he does not eat mushrooms. the chefin was extremely inflexible here, there was the unsatisfactory and incomprehensible answer the gang tastes only in this composition of our opinion htte another supplement of another court very well adapted to the saibling. well, our son then ordered the callbsfilet with salbeibutter and young erbsenmousse. as a prespeisse we had a daylioni with truffle (15 what tasted delicious. after the order we were given a gruss from the cheek and broth. because the broth basket was very small (3 cuts) and was accordingly distorted quickly, I asked again for further broth. the chefin kept in the process, briefly, and then said quite unwillingly that it was just ok to bring a second broth basket. how to behave like that, because of 20 cents. in other restaurants you will be asked if you have to brot again. brigens have also reordered brot, which the other two waiters brought without too much. we then ordered an open white wine, which we did not recommend, as he was sweetly, slightly sss. as we knew this weeping and all the weepings were developed there, we still ordered the weeping. the brigade superbly fits the bead-huhnbrust and spinach-fifferling risotto. When we eat our son, we do not dare our eyes. the teller was full of pfifferlingen and we said extra when ordering that he doesn't eat mushrooms. this was also not on the map at this court. my wife and I then got rid of the mushrooms and as a supplement to the calfsfilet there were 3 mini slices of kartoffel and 3 small slices of erbesenmousse. after a short time, our son had only half the callbssteak on the teller (29 when the chefin noticed this, she asked if he had to reorder supplements. this should be done immediately at the beginning, for when the supplements came, the kalbssteak was almost eaten up. the food was really good, but the service was unprofessional and the ease of use. by the many mistakes of the service our mood was quite dehydrated and we then dispensed with the dessert. We then asked ourselves why this wonderful terrace was not booked on a perfect summer evening. the food is certainly not! service we were served by the chefin. her friendliness was very well placed. as soon as the customer has only a small extra request, this becomes a problem. that eat very well."

"We were there for lunch. At the best late summer weather we took place in the beautiful beer garden. After the friendly welcome, the cards were quickly distributed and a recommendation for the daily menu was also pronounced. We then decided that with €21, it was more favorable, as we had to find after the meal. 1. Gang a pumpkin cream soup somewhat sneaky but tastefully in order 2. Gang bad onion roast with vegetables of the season the meat was wonderfully cooked and of the best quality. The vegetables were cooked to the point slightly bite-resistant. the 2nd Gang an absolute highlight 3. Gang an ice cream with homemade zimpflaumen compote with fresh plums a heavenly pleasure. The wines offered come from the Britzingens wine cooperative and from a self-marketer very good Nieveau and reasonably priced. We will return next year to the conclusion of the most refined hospitality."

"Wir haben ein Teamevent mit ca 40 Personen (Verabschiedung mehrerer Arbeitskollegen) dort gefeiert. Der Kontakt war seit Beginn freundlich und wertschätzend. Es gab spontane Änderungen was die Speisen betraf, Herr Krutzinna war immer erreichbar und hat sehr schnell auf Mails geantwortet, Änderungen wurden kurzfristig vorgenommen. Das Essen war ein Gedicht, wunderbarer Feldsalat, das Fleisch der Roulade butterzart, wir waren begeistert. Der Service war perfekt und außerordentlich aufmerksam, auch hier nur lobende Worte! Alles perfekt hätte ein separater Bereich gemacht, so saßen wir etwas verstreut an mehreren Tischen. Besten Dank nochmal für alles, wir werden uns ganz bestimmt wiedersehen Luise Klaiber Haus, Kandern."

"Having had a wonderful meal at this restaurant one evening I decided to go back again the next night. On both occasions I asked them to recommend meals and some local wine and on both occasions they did not disappoint. The meal was perfectly cooked and the wine was first class (but all modestly priced). Try some of the Sauvignon Blanc which is grown here in the region. I know it's very much a popular wine but this was especially fresh and light. It is clear to see why this restaurant is so popular and I would highly recommend arriving early if you want to sit outside on a warm evening as tables are very much in demand. I'd like to make a special mention to the lady that served me (wish I had asked her name but she welcomed me back with a handshake which I thought was very polite). Good service is as much an essential ingredient of a restaurant as is the food and the ambience. I'd highly recommend you visit here if coming to Badenweiler - indeed it's worthy of a special journey."

"Wir gehen gerne unter der Woche in den Engel nur für ein Abendessen. Die Gastwirte sind immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Karte ist typisch badisch, Spezialität des Hauses sind Wildgerichte. Die Speisen sind frisch und gut zubereitet, saisonal gibt es eine zusätzliche Karte mit Speisen aus der Region. Salat darf man sich von dem ausreichend bestücken Buffet nehmen. Hier wäre ein bisschen mehr Abwechslung zu den Standard Salaten wünschenswert. Preis Leistung ist für die Speisen sind in Ordnung. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne."
