Had dinner here with a friend. Cool atmosphere, signature dishes, nothing posh but simple and very tasty. The crew of this place is cool to. Worth to visit!

Just waiting a little bit... But when we ate.... We were surprised. It's amazing. We'll recome back tomorrow... And Tuesday evening. The "Goulash" kills you..... Miammmm

Very good knödel, good coffee and good beer. Just the service a bit disappointing, as seating and waiting time are somewhat high but the waiter keeps telling that seats will be free in 5-10min. Next time would like to taste Desserts !! Voir le carte

nice cozy restaurant with friendly service. we were very welcome – it is just such a friendly atmosphere. the food lived the demands of the authentic, very tasty tiroler tariff. I also loved the Austrian wee whom we ordered – double-gelt – and tried to find him since then! overall this was our best dinner experience in our trip to hamburg. highly recommended and I would definitely return.

the marend is a very small but cozy and authentic restaurant with tyrolean style and eating. the menu is short, but eating is delicious. since I was originally from tirol, I visited them some paints. eating is very good, the price is. a bit too high for me, but as I said, I was born in innsbruck, so this type of eating is known to me, which means nothing special. of course for the rest of the world it is special and you should try it out

I went to the Marend some month ago with my boyfriend. He was there early, sitting at the table waiting for 20 minutes and was not even recognized or asked what he wanted to drink. Some minutes after I arrived we were announced, quite unpersonal and unenthusiastic, it stayed like this the whole evening. The food was good but in this special case I have to say service sells too, and I would not recommend Marend to to the poor service we experienced. Voir le carte

Impeccably newly done up inside, and a view into the kitchen where you can see the knödels being prepared. As a lunch special we had bacon knödel with salad which was delicious and copious. We then made the mistake of ordering plum knödel for pudding - we ordered one but they brought two; I though we would explode. It was nice enough but too much. Anyway they didn't charge for the second one and threw in coffee for free.Definitely worth a visit but bring a big appetite.

Time for a tasteful and gut lunch, we passed in front of Marend and th eplace looked cool and trendy to us yet had no idea of the food quality but somehow the place looked appealing. Service young and friendly, wooden table and benches in the Austrian Alps spirit, nice but not too much. Menu essentially around Knoedels in different preparations - we had for one spinach Knoedesl with a fresh salad and for the other a goulash Knoedel - both very tasty, well presented, not common and really good. Highly recommendable - we will for sure return to that place. The atmoshpere was also top. D from Brussels

The former secretly hidden "Hofküche" moved to a more lively area opposite the Heiligengeistfeld where FC St.Pauli fans, "Hamburger Dom"-visitors mingle with shoppers from Karoviertel and the Saturday flea market. The sympathetic owners now concentrate on their best-selling Tyrolean "Knödel" (dumplings) in all variations and in a decent "Hüttn" atmosphere. For guest who just want to have some snack that accompanies a glass of wine there are "Brotzeit" offers with tasty cheese and sausages. For a coffee break in the afternoon there are tartes - as the dumplings all self made. Which sometimes takes a bit more time but it is worth waiting for.
