Maredo Steakhouse Berlin Friedrichstraße

The only reason it is not getting 5 stars for me is that the steak was average. Good but not wow. All other things are great, service, staff, seating area and the salad bar.

Stayed for 3 days. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was a class above other hotels in Berlin that cost the same. Fitness center sauna was a pretty good experience as well. Will choose Melia again next time!

great service and cheap. I have the scribble with potato and mais on the cob. the steak was perfectly cooked and the baked kartoffel was amazing. some of the best acid cream I've ever tasted. the bottle chardonnay was only 10 euro and steak was only 22.

The style of this restaurant slightly reminded me of an American Diner, so in my mind, this atmosphere does not fit with the quality of food (expensive meat) that they serve there. The food is good, probably a little to pricey for the flavour, but my friends extra came to this place to eat the dessert plate.

Really wonderful food, with a great range of dishes available. The service is fast, friendly and professional, with dishes being explained thoroughly when needed. The set menus are a good way to order, with customisation for some of the cold dishes and salads. There's a good selection of wines also that won't break the bank.

Good hotel. Nice classical decorated rooms and good beds. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are really friendly and helpful to give you the best stay. I had a problem with my expectations of the executive lounge, expected food with a menu during the day. Nina Dangel and her team helped me out with this and gave a good solution. Because of this I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed this place. the food was good. it was a Wednesday night at 20 o'clock. no problem getting a table, but it was pretty busy, but the restaurant is pretty big. I ordered a reasonable medium rare sirloin and chips. excellent cooked. friendly attentive staff. not wild expressing, but I wasn't in a hurry. add a small glass red and the bill was €27. not bad for central Berlin. I would recommend the place.

the hotel is located in the city center, directly opposite the main railway station friedrichstraße. easy access to everywhere in berlin. hotel is clean and beautiful, not very large lobby, but quite a good place. friendly and simple check-in. room is nice and clean. safe and hair dryer are available, but we could get a water cooker. the call to the receptionist or room service was quite difficult, that was on Sunday afternoon. wifi in the room was average, no good speed.

There are times when I wonder if a place like this is OK to run the way it does. Once that thought goes through my head I know the rating is going to decline. I was told right off the bat by the waiter that service would take some time. No problem. I agreed. The food was good, if this were any other, lesser, restaurant. The baked potato depended on the chives and sour cream for all the flavor, so not too much effort there. The steak was disappointing. Medium should be prepared evenly medium (as much as possible). I don’t mind medium-rare. I love it. I’m OK with medium-well, too. But when I ask for medium, I want it medium. Not ranging from medium-well to medium-rare. Also, the flavor of the...
