I have visiting Mareas regulary during my visits to Hamburg since The food is generally good but they have two items that are outstanding. Lamb chops of very high quality meat and fried peppers with salt. They are both excellent. The white sparagus is...also very good when in season.

The tapas are good and sure, the service team always try their best, even when they are busy (I know its hard to satisfy everyone`s wish in time).Coming to the food, the sauces (Albondigas/Shrimps) are a bit too viscous but tasty at all. The potatoes are great, salsa rojo & verde are great as well. I am missing something with Squid or Octopus, even if its a bit more expensive but thats what Portugal is all about.

A wonderful restaurant with an appealing tapas card. To do this, a clear selection of wines, what you want more. The service is very friendly and accommodating. I had a mixed salad with tuna. Very tasty and especially no salad from the refrigerator. Freshly prepared, very good dressing. It is recommended to reserve. Oh, yeah! Important for friends of plastic money, this is only cash. A savings bank with ATM is 200m away
