"The first time I tried this place the food was great, but then on my second visit the food was bad. I've been a few times since and it's always been hit and miss like this, which is a shame. They're just very inconsistent. Sometimes you get things that are crisp and fresh tasting and the sauces have a nice consistency, but other times food can be soggy, stale/old tasting and either too gloopy or too watery. Because of that it's hard to recommend them, even though at times the food can be great. They also don't do delivery, which is a shame I think. There's a lack of takeaway delivery options in Llangefni, so you'd think they'd want to capitalize on that, COVID especially you'd think would have inspired lots of these places to do so, so that's one thing I would recommend for them."

Just had the best Chinese meal we've had on Anglesey. Singapore chow mein, chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken. Beautiful !

Usually get nice food from here, but last night’s food was not up to standard. The sweet and sour sauce was like jelly. Not impressed.

I ordered a vegetable curry and egg fried rice from Mandarin tonight and was shocked to find a long dark hair in the rice when I got it home. It was disgusting and I will not be returning to this restaurant.

We stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant and were blown away by the quality of the food. Everything we tried was exceptional, especially the salt and chili ribs. It was hands down the best Chinese food we have ever had.

First time trying here last night and wow it was so tasty! I’ve gone off my local Chinese and tried a few on the island but this is definitely my new favourite! I can’t wait to go again. We had a chow mein, special curry, satay skewers, s&p chips and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole lot! Highly recommend, will definitely be returning.

I got takeout from this restaurant today, March 19th. I ordered one chicken fried rice, one chicken chow mein, one special Thai red curry with plain rice, and a side of small vegetable spring rolls with a red chilli sauce/jelly. They also included free prawn crackers. The portions were very generous and there was enough for a second meal the next day. The taste was overall very good, although the red chilli dip had an odd consistency like jelly. Despite this, we were willing to overlook it because everything else was so tasty. The prices were not cheap, but the quality of the food made it worth it. We will definitely be coming back to eat here next time we are in Anglesey.

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."
