"while reading the outside menu, my man and I both excited about the vegetarian plate for felefal scotch egg, quiche of the day, salat, coleslaw, cheese and brot, but especially the Scotch egg. as Sunday it was busy, but just a few minutes to wait. we ordered our plates, juice and cafets of the day quickly and the food came within minutes. Unfortunately, the drinks lasted a few minutes, although they were lined with several others on the tresor and my husband had to take a tablet before eating. I immediately noticed the lack of the Scotch egg, as there was a piece of the cheese whirl that I had previously noticed in the deli next door. I asked the waitress when she brought the drinks and said that they had not been in a position to think the eggs were a past, so that had been replaced with the string. Although the strudel was very tasty, I think we said that when we ordered, so were a little plastered. the other nigger was the quiche of the day. it was my own fault really not to ask what taste it was, but I love quiche of most sort, but that was goat cheese and I hate goat cheese, so it could not eat. there were no signs/blacks everywhere, where I could see that suppe of the day was ... and quiche of the day was .... all to say that the rest of the plate was amazing. there were small slices ( furniture) of cheese from the deli and a selection of slices of bread/Foccacia, the tasty plus deli coleslaw and very well presented salat with mixed leaves and slices of what I think were marinated carrot and beet roots. it looked beautiful and tasted beside the quiche) and the apple juice and Colombian coffee went well with the meals. the venue was nice if a little loud, a Sunday and not cheap, and I think if she mentioned the substitution and reported to me the goat cheese that does not correspond to every taste, I would have given it."

I had a few coffees at this restaurant and it was decent. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was attentive. However, it is now closed and all equipment has been removed from the building.

This looks a nice smart place and the staff and variety of food do not let it down. But don't order the pasty, the pastry is soggy and the contents are grey. Other food comes through better. Nice salads and nice cakes. Worth a stop...but choose wisely

Ludlow Pantry is a small café in the town centre near the market. Plenty of cakes,hot/cold snacks and good range of drinks both hot and cold. Many products on sale from the Ludlow Food centre as well. Nice shop front but needs more tables to...compare with other local opposition but still very good.and interior, Good staff service.

Popped in here to get rolls for lunch as it looked good from outside. It was quite busy with customers and everything looked very appetising. Nice choice of rolls with lots local produce. Rolls www freshly made to order bit of a wait but my...goodness worth it. We could have made do with one ham and cheese roll it was so generously full! Such delicious rolls and no more that you would pay for a run of the mill sandwich in supermarket.

This small local cafe has just a few tables for eating in but is worth a visit for a lunch. The food is sourced locally and while not cheap or perhaps the very best quality I did enjoy the Estate Box (a small selection of...local meat, cheese, salad, bread etc) which was delicious. My husbands sandwich didn't quite live up to my expectation being on a large sub roll rather than fresh bread, however he enjoyed it and he did say the roll was lovely and fresh. I did find the slice of chocolate cake I had very weird tasting, it had an overwhelming taste of something like honey, was incredibly sweet and frankly quite dry. It looked a lot nicer than it tasted. Probably the worst chocolate cake I h...

"My partner and I often visit Ludlow and like to discover new coffee and lunch venues. We were a little hesitant when finding this lovely looking cafe/ bistro was empty, whilst elsewhere coffee shops seemed quite busy. The interior was inviting and the waitress friendly so we decided to try it out. As a first impression, I think the extractors in the kitchen could benefit from an overhaul , as the smell of stale fat was noticeably in the air. Also, as is a trend in coffee shops recently, the place was a little chilly. Hot chocolate and coffee was ordered to sort that! These came quickly and were ok. My partner ordered a bacon sandwich (crispy bacon please! and a tea cake for me. The latter was unavailable so a scone was second choice. Sadly on arrival the bacon was definately not crispy and had gelatinous fat and rind. The bread was thick white sliced toasting bread (supermarket cheap and not fresh. My scone came with cream and jam but the scone was like a brick. Definitely not today 's or yesterday 's even. On paying my partner was asked if everything was OK with our food. He politely replied about the scone being stale and the response was simply Oh. And that was that. On leaving the smell of stale fat was in our clothes .... I think that the poor ratings on here are more recent and the average 4 star rating has been bolstered by better reviews earned historically. I do hope this isn 't a downward trend for this little business and things can be pulled back."

"this excellent and very busy michelin and good food guide listed caffe right next to the teme in dinham, below the burg in ludlow, just a few meters from the most famous, michelin played herr underhills nothing to reduce the culinary call of the city. eating everything is careful and in perfect condition. a hugely light confusion about what was up and what was out was soon overcome and my melt in mouth gravadlax came with dill and senf dressing and first-class fresh roggenbrot. also the pasta of my companions looked good. I followed with panacotta and a pfirsich. the wine is delivered as carefully as eating and comes from “small family-run independent vineyards” and a modest asatical white domaine leon boesch, la cabane 2011 – rounded off the whole. the green cafe has 30 seats inside with 25 on the terrace outside, of course only usable if the weather is good, so they have to book. it is a midday restaurant and operates 90 minutes sessions. but on a good day as it was for our visit, it is a total joy. children were sure to paddle in flat water of the river and the mood, supported by the friendly, busy, but unraveled worker, was like a party. the green credentials of the place are underlined by the careless with which everything is done, including the sanation. it is worth mentioning this – we use edward bulmers paintt pots of paints with seat in pembridge, herefordshire. our new tables have been made from retrieved wood by steve hodges by leominster – how brilliant is this? a walk over the Dinham bridge, led to the flow nature path on the right and the bad teme, which we on the way to the charlton arms, where, on the terrace overlooking the river, we did not sink a few pints from hobson."
