"Really nice cafe in Conwy, always busy but has a good vibe. Dog friendly, staffs friendly. Had the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel which was nice and right size for a meal. Friends ordered the fully Monty bap, looked really delicious and quite big, they both managed to finish it and enjoy it. Vegetarian bap was also nice and sweet potato fries was delicious, a decent sized that could be shared with 4-5 people as the baps can be filling. Lovely experience, small outdoor backyard. No toilet inside cafe, need to go to a hotel few building uphill."

What amazing friendly and attentive service. There must have been about 5 lads serving and each and every one of them were lively and superb. The food was lovely too.

A lovely cosy place with great food and coffee. Being a dog friendly place is a great boon. The staff were all lovely and were so helpful. This is a real gem of a place.

Seemless lunch today, prompt service and felt like the staff cared. Also our FANTASTIC lunch arrived which was a great surprise as we only popped in on the off chance. Glad we did! Voir le carte

It used to be nice friendly coffee shop but not any more. The coffee was overpriced £3:50 for a small cup of decaffeinated coffee and the staff couldn't wait to get you out as soon as you had finished it. Very rude and would never go there again. Don't waste your money and try nicer more friendly and better value coffee shops.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and it was a great discovery! The coffee was delicious and actually tasted like coffee. The food was excellent, especially the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel I had. They offer a variety of breakfast options. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was busy. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely return when I am in the area.

Popped in today while visiting Conwy. We were shown to a table by a very helpful and polite young man (Roddy) who is a credit to the business. He made sure our order was taken and even brought dog treats and asked if our 2 dogs needed any fresh water. Coffee and cakes were fabulous and he Popped back a couple of times to make sure everything was OK or if we needed anything else. 5 stars all round for a fantastic coffee and cake break. Been here a fair few times now! Best cafe round here bar none. It’s small so be quick as tables fill rapidly. Breakfast is always great, big portions aswell. Coffee is always lovely. Plus they do my fave ginger beer. Not had any cakes but they look lovely. The owners have created the perfect cafe imo It’s got a real buzz which is hard to create but this is down to the owners and of course the staff too. Well priced. Just a great place!

Located in the heart of Conwy, this charming café has a welcoming family atmosphere. I have visited twice recently and have been impressed with the high quality of the food. The service is exceptional, with staff willing to accommodate any menu requests. The young employees are a standout feature, displaying professionalism and kindness. I witnessed a waiter going above and beyond to assist an elderly customer, which was heartwarming to see. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

"Whenever I get the inclination to write a review it’s usually because it’s so good and I want to shout about my experience to everyone… however this is not my usual 5* recommendation! As locals we have visited this cafe on a few occasions for breakfast or a coffee stop. It’s a great location, nice decor, dog friendly and delicious food. What’s not to like? Well, the staff, or more specifically the owner! She lacks any customer service skills, she smiles through gritted teeth, orders her staff around while she stands observing (or waiting for an argument . Each time we’ve visited she’s had an issue with something. Once she argued with me because I asked for my latte to be served in a cup rather than a tall glass. She proceeded to try and educate me on coffee making (I’m barista trained ! She reluctantly gave me it to me in a mug with a jug of extra milk which wouldn’t fit into the mug anyway! More recently we arrived, it was quiet, and chose to sit in the window (the largest table as we had our dog and didn’t want him to be in the way. She rushed over and demanded we sat at another table because she “couldn’t afford for us to take up a larger table”. We moved without an issue but she was very confrontational (as always and made the rest of our dining experience uncomfortable. So uncomfortable in fact that despite being ravenous we almost didn’t order. The cafe remained quiet throughout our time there, plenty of empty tables and yet she proceeded to use the larger window table to accommodate her staff, herself and a friend who popped in. How is that fair? So my advice to you as a fellow catering/ hospitality manager is… Learn from your Trip Advisor feedback, Book yourself on a free customer service course and lead by example and if you are worried about costs reduce the number of staff. 5 staff on duty in a cafe that seats approx 25 people at full capacity is not needed. Maybe the owner should put her feet up at home and let the lovely younger people do their thing. They all look so nervous around her and are almost too afraid to speak. I’m sure they’d do a far better job without her monitoring their every move. Even the Chef (her husband maybe? looks petrified of her!! Certain people are not cut out for customer facing roles and she is one of them! I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read any of these reviews as she’s been like this since my first visit 5 years ago!! What a shame. This place could be a thriving business and a welcoming village cafe but I’m sure her confrontational attitude and unwelcoming nature put people off from returning. Such a shame as the food and coffee are delightful"
