In the lodge you know how to handle good meat! Even with the supplements you can make nix wrong, everything very delicious! The fact that quality naturally has its price should be clear to everyone, but at this quality the food was PREIS WERT!

We've been eating at the lodge several times. Meat was as usual well roasted, but we had a table in the entrance area and the lighting was super-sweet. You can only see what you eat on the plates. In addition, it moved to the table like Hechtsuppe. Too bad.

Were there for the 3rd time and it was again a taste experience. A small exception were the bacon beans, but they must have been prepared for the first time by a cook in love. Everything in usual quality. Only exception that we had to get to the bar after 90 minutes to make room for the next. But what can happen just before Christmas and was sweetened with a free dessert. Even if we would have liked to sit at our table for a longer time. The menu does not offer innovations but usually comes to steakessen.

We were there for Sunday's Brunch Buffet. Selection and quality of the buffet for the lodge rather disappointing. 1 cheese, 1 jam, salami, ham, salmon. Nutella and honey in plastic. selection of lunches of varied but not convincing meat quite dry. Service well. Ambience good. Right full with waiting times on the buffet. For a subsequent zoo visit very practical, but rather recommend lunch or dinner.

Of course, on Valentine's Day it is very full in such a place, but this should be known in the personal planning with almost complete reservation. The food came fast, the service was friendly, but not as accommodating as usual. No meat presentation, for example. That certain extra missed. If you feed the last bite, the question of whether everything is right is no longer appropriate. My wife orders wine from the wine list, I'm not asked if I want to drink. Then the food is on the table, the wine is still missing and I only have to call the waiter to order me a drink. Unfortunately, the process was not optimal here.
