Amazing location and amazing food. Excellent Covid planning and our 2nd trip here. Our first trip was excellent but this was a whole other level. One of the best meals I've ever had.

Cuisine proposée avec uniquement des produits de l 'île de Skye, avec des crustacés et du poisson excellemment préparée. Un coup de coeur pour le couteau, plein de saveurs. Seul petit bémol avec la musique d 'ambiance qui n 'est pas adaptée.

De très beaux produits, une explosion de saveurs, des cuissons justes et de vraies sauces. Les plats sont bien dressés, un accueil et service chaleureux et décontractés de Laurence la femme du chef Michael Smith et de Graeme. Une super playlist. C'est original et c'est très bon. On a adoré.

This place is all that is right about the food scene in Scotland. Amazing local produce cooked to perfection. The seafood was incredible. It’s a nice relaxed and slightly less formal setting in beautiful Stein in Waternish. The food is simply stunning and would recommend the tasting menu. This place deserves all the plaudits it has rightly been receiving. The bar selection is also fantastic and the service was perfect. Book a trip to Skye to come here!

There are very few places that nail it, Loch Bay wears it's heart on its sleeve. This is not a pretentious Michelin Star resteraunt. This is a warm hug from your granny who also happens to be the best cook for a lifetime. The staff a so friendly and took great care of us on our anniversary. There is a real family atmosphere here with the whole resteraunt feeling like you are a home from home. The food is second to none whether you go al a cart or sample the sea food tasting menu. It really is an absolute joy.

we had a nice meal in april in loch bay. the tasting menu is an incredible firm when they are a seafood lover. especially we enjoyed the prawns, fried oysters and dessert the refreshing. some dishes felt a bit over spiced, but this is a personal preference. Overall, the personal was very friendly, the eating delicious and the environment absolutely stunning. it was a very special evening and would highly recommend the restaurant. only suggestion would we wish that each court was declared a little more to the table.

excellent. remote location, located in a row of fishing huts. cozy, romantic and professional. we arrived during the Kovid crash. only 2 employees cook michael smith and house. both looking for 4 tables. everything was respectful, friendly and unpredictable. we had the pleasure of experiencing a seafood extravaganza of a tasting menu. as expected, the ingredients and products are fresh and coordinated with lovely weeping. the chef spoils her with a tasteful excursion around the best offers of skye from the sea. in particular the happiness of tasting the longoustine bisque will remain in memory. then we were later pampered with half a lorbe with chanterelles. We absolutely loved our experience at Loch Bay! Initially, we were a bit apprehensive about dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, but from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality that it felt like we were dining in a dear friend's home. The staff, dressed in casual attire of jeans and trainers, were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. The food was simply outstanding - each course was a delight and it's hard to pick a favorite.
