Lion Star - Carte

Just had a great night in the Lion Star. Burns night food was superb. A few tasty drinks and an excellent selection of rum and whisky. Why have I not visited this place before now? Highly recommended.

We had lunch today. The waitress was really friendly, helpful and nice. What I ordered was cold so they took it away and gave me a new plate of food, apologised profusely and didn’t charge me for the meal. What I had was very tasty too.

Absolutely love this place the food and the waitress/barmaid Kimberley is an absolute delight! Top notch bar person! Very attentive and first class service! 10/10 sorry guys had to edit the name, git it so wrong Kimberley you are my fave xx Voir le carte

Had the most fantastic meal last night with my partner (steak and chips food cooked to perfection and lovely presentation . The staff were very accommodating and always happy to help . We had a really nice evening , food to die for would definitely recommend

Myself and 3 friends went for food last night at the Lion and Star .The staff were very attentive without being overly pushy or annoying .2 of us had fish and chips and 2 had the chicken skewers and we all enjoyed our meal .It was my first time in for food but will definitely be back probably for the Knickerbocker glory ! Thank u to the staff !

Been here a few times and always thoroughly enjoyed it. Took the kids tonight who also loved it . Was very busy but table had been booked and kept for us by Simon. My Food was amazing , I had the chilli burger ... Kids meals great , kids burger was particularly tasty . My partner had the tomahawk ! Looked incredible and tasted incredible! I went last night with 2 friends, the service was outstanding, we ordered our food and it came in no time at all. The portion sizes were fantastic and it all tasted delicious. With 2 of us being vegetarian and my other friend was vegan the manager went out of his way to make sure that we all got food that we could eat. When we asked for coffee' s Etc they had no soya milk so they sent someone over to Sainsbury which is just behind the lion and star to go and get some for us. They could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend.

Went to this eating house/pub last night after a recommendation from my sister Loretta. I went with 2 old work colleagues from Woodilee Hospital. As soon as we arrived the welcome was great from the Manager Simon (I think was his name), We sat down and our food was at our table in no time. 2 Ribeye steaks and a steak pie (In an enamel dish which we thought was a nice touch. Our meals were fantastic and very tasty and plentiful. The waitresses were brilliant and very attentive and joined in our banter which was nice. The price for the 3 of us with wine was excellent. Would I recommend this place, Definitely and I cant wait to go back.

Had my birthday meal here last night there was 9 of us, the food was outstanding, so fresh and tasty not 1 complaint from anyone, lots of empty plates from starters to main courses, food has been brilliant anytime we have came here, had a lovely strawberry daiquiri which I loved, only 1 issue and that was the length of time we had to wait on food coming and drinks, only 2 lovely boys working the floor/bar and we did have to wait a considerable amount of time for drinks, and quite some time from the kitchen from the time we had starter till main course, cannot fault the staff at all as they were doing their best but maybe a little more staff in as there was a good few tables full for meals.
