Lighthouse - Menu

Superb as usual every dish faultless full of different amazing flavours. We loved the wagyu beef tartare first course and the Amalfi lemon crossover dish.

Asked tonight for something out of the ordinary think it made the hair stand on the chef/staff neck but hey they obliged and did it and I absolutely loved it service beyond amazing

This fine dining restaurant offers tasting menus, for which it has received numerous awards including from Michelin. All I can say is that the restaurant exceeded expectations in all respects. Thank you for a memorable evening.

The food, ambiance, and service at this restaurant were absolutely fantastic. It was delightful to be able to relax and enjoy drinks in the bar next to the fireplace before dinner. The meal was exceptional, and I am eagerly looking forward to coming back again!

My wife and I treated my brother to a meal at the lighthouse as a thank you for looking after our dog while we were on vacation. We had been there before, and once again we were impressed with the delicious, well-prepared food. If you're a food lover, you'll definitely enjoy dining here.

I highly recommend visiting The Lighthouse if you find yourself in the Ashbourne area. The food and service were exceptional. The tasting menu was one of the best I've had in a long time. Jon and the whole team made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make sure our party had a fantastic experience. I suggest trying the wine pairing along with the delicious food.

First time here and wow is all I can say. From the moment we arrived the service was sublime. Cocktails were amazing too I had an amaretto sour. The courses were all presented beautiful and tasted incredible!!! We loved every single one and were blown away. The location is fab too with rolling hills and plenty of parking. The decor is tasteful inside as well. We will definitely be back!!!!

First class food, attentive service and a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. What’s not to like. Had a fabulous evening (a gift from our children) and can’t wait to go back. Have eaten in several Michelin starred restaurants, and the food here is up there with them. If there was a weak link, it was the lamb kofta, but only because it is similar to the kofta I prepare myself, so not particularly special, but every other course was stunning.

Dinner. Tapas fine dining evening. It's one of Ashbournes' premier restaurants. Located in Boylestone, a lovely little village just off the A50. On arrival, you are seated in the cosy bar area for a pre-dinner drink. A Sangria was the obvious choice. You are then shown through to the dining room. Barn, like with its exposed brick and high rafters, which is spacious and airy. Our table was facing the open kitchen where we could watch the chef and his team in action. As well as their seasonal tasting menus, they do some themed evenings. On our visit, it was the Tapas Menu. Snacks BBQ Picanto,feta/ Israeli cous cous. Manchogo Jambon Croquette Chorizo. Loligo squid Tompura,saffron aioli/ anchovy...
