Wonderful place! Amazing food, delicious! And marvellous few on the lake. Went 5 times there during my vacation. Best place in Malcesine!

Food is expensive and lacks satisfying quality. To enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Garde and need something that fills your stomach, this is a descent option.

il posto meritava 10 stelle per la splendida vista. per quanto riguarda il menu si potrebbe fare di più. è una località turistica con un'offerta turistica rivolta soprattutto ai turisti stranieri. quasi niente di tipico.

Great place for good food and drink. Family run. Such good quality. Next door is an Amazing place to rest in the private gardens for private jetty and swim/sunbathe. Change rooms and toilet. You pay for entry. But we love it. Been coming for years.

The pizza was good, as was the service. What unfortunately should be renewed are the glasses. The glasses have seen better days. Either they are heavily scratched or partially blind/milky. The ordered carafe of red wine was covered with fingerprints which seemed a bit unhygienic. Seafood was not sampled. In general, we can not understand the rush to this restaurant, it is probably due to the direct location to the lake. On the whole, a mediocre visit.

Quando siamo arrivate ci siamo sedute subito senza dover aspettare. Le mie amiche hanno mangiato pesce; nello specifico hanno ordinato due antipasti, un primo e due secondi. Io ho preso una pizza vegana (la pizza vegetariana senza mozzarella e senza formaggio grana). La pizza era molto buona: ben cotta, croccante e con diverse verdure grigliate. The location of this restaurant is stunning. Right alongside the lake, you couldn’t get a better position. The food that we had was enjoyable (but not the best in Malcesine) and it says a lot that we went there three times. We decided not to return for further visits during our two week holiday because the service was a bit variable. Some of the staff were fine but one waitress in particular didn’t smile once. On several occasions the guys who seemed to be in charge stood adjacent to our table having very long conversations with (presumably) regular customers whilst we were trying to attract attention from one of the waiters. We felt a little like second class customers so took our business...

Reason for visiting: We wanted to spend a day on northern shores of lake Garda and we're looking for a place for lunch, sunbathing and swimming. Spoiler alert, aLido Paina ticked all boxes. Would I visit again?: Definitely, perfect combination of a beautiful terrace, good food and a nice area with sunbeds and umbrellas easy access to the lake . Was the food delicious?: The food has very good quality for a restaurant directly at the lake and mainly visited by tourists. The menu is extensive and has Italian classics with a modern twist.
