L'etable - Menu

Le restaurant est très joli et la cuisine délicieuse dans ce petit restaurant situé dans la plus belle rue du centre de Tours. Nous avons pris le menu qui coûtait un peu plus de 30 euros.

Wonderful dinner experience; food magnificent, friendly accomodating staff. 3 course dinner for E36, excellent value considering the quality of ingredients. We have 3 more days here and will absolutely endeavour to return before we leave

What a find. Arrived in Tours earlier on the Sunday. Looked for somewhere central for a group of 8. Have to say staff and chef really friendly, location central, great atmosphere and the food was really 5 star. Wine excellent too. Would really recommend

C'était l'aspur du choix du moment que nous voulions un petit dîner et ce restaurant familial était parfait pour nous! La salade d'apéritif était incroyable. la liste des vins est petite mais adéquate et le service excellent. Nous avons été faits pour nous sentir très bien. La nourriture est très bonne et nous avons vraiment apprécié les grandes salades

Endroit charmant avec un personnel jeune et rapide. Excellents plats de cuisine française traditionnelle à la fois de viande et de poisson. Nous y sommes allés deux soirs de suite car nous avons été très satisfaits. On y mange une entrée et un plat avec des portions très généreuses pour 80 € avec deux verres de vin. Hautement recommandé. À deux pas de la cathédrale et du musée.

Ayant mangé dans différents pays sur différents continents. Mais ce fut le meilleur dîner que j'ai eu depuis des années au moins. Le service était très agréable, la nourriture est d'un bon rapport qualité-prix mais pas bon marché, juste une superbe expérience. Nous avions pris deux fois le menu avec entrée ou dessert et une demi-bouteille de vin blanc et avons payé 69 euros pour le pourboire. Fortement recommandé!

Oh, where to begin! The restaurant had a great ambience. The service, price and standard of cooking were all excellent. We tried a restaurant on our first evening, just opposite called The souris gourmande. The next night I cooked at our accommodation because it wasnt very good. Then we came across L’Etable. This restaurant was so good we ate there a second night and only wish we’d eaten there our first night as it would have saved me cooking!

We truly enjoyed our dinner at L'etable, and the price was excellent for the quality of food. We had the roast camerbert with honey and goats cheese starter, one of us had the generous serving of entrecote steak, goats cheese/shallot sauce, and our other entree was the roast sea bream with oyster mushroom and white butter, and we each had the creme brulee and coconut tiramasu and bread and butter pudding. Ooh la la la la! We really liked the owner and serving staff, and this was another restaurant that we could tell was full of locals. We came here twice in an 8-day stay in Tours because both the artisanal food and the service were great. Both times, we didn’t order appetizers but were presented with a complimentary chicken liver pâté appetizer that was a great start. I had the curried chicken dish the first time and loved it so much that I ordered it again. It lived up to my expectations, though the accompaniments might have been a little different each time.
