Everyone was so helpful, hardworking and polite and the place is absolutely perfect for a wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and every request granted. Had dinner here for our anniversary, it was a lovely evening. The venue and the surroundings are beautiful, food was excellent both in flavour and presentation, and the service was impeccable. We were well looked after, without ever feeling like anyone was hovering.

we ordered the lunch card 2 courses for £27, which was fantastic value for money. the service was good, we have everything up-to-date curious. I had the suppe that huh that was delicious. we went around the ground, after which we were beautiful. would highly recommend and definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic! Young couple looking for somewhere to dine after a weekend at Colchester zoo Steak is amazing the tables being on the river overlooking the bridge lit up was beautiful too. The service is brilliant, Michelin star prices but that’s because the whole package is 5* Will definitely go back.
