We spent a pleasant evening on the terrace. We took the 1/2 lobster (2 people). The 2 portions were really small, very little to eat on the lobster. It was more like half a Langoustine. So, for this dish, we remain hungry. However, the server was very professional and very valiant. Very nice wine list and the menu is also interesting.

Very expensive abode unless France is inordinately cheap. Do not agree with the restricted bi-modal menu. Overcelebrated a l'americaine mode. Few people were eating but were enthusiastic and not popular eatery seekers. After all the Boul.Helvetique is away from the scenic, currently deplorable, lake littoral....The shrimps (tiger) with the saffran risotto were very very good, the lobster merely ok, slightly uneasy. The steak passable. The wine selection was more than adequate and their counsel of value. The deserts very good. Taking into account the aestival closures it was an excellent choice. Plenty of space indoors in a red clad chamber (if memory serves)

Despite the Michelin recommendation, this was not a good choice for adventurous essers who do not speak French. the restaurant did not have any English menus, the personal did not speak English, and the menu online did not end reliably with the French with which we were presented....All crisp virtual menus I presented last year. this is a place where we could actually benefit from one.
