Went here for my birthday. One of the staff members Pierre was very helpful and made sure everything went well. Highly recommended.

We waited a long time for our food, even though the restaurant didn't appear busy. Two of us ordered dishes that didn't require much cooking, like charcuterie, but they came last. The staff were friendly, but we felt the prices were too high for the portion sizes. However, the quiche was tasty.

Our server Isla was fantastic! She was sweet and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We were celebrating a special occasion, so she brought us some bubbles to start and then complimentary drinks before we left. The food and wine was delicious as well. We will definitely be back soon! Excellent wine list. Food menu is light but matches wine very well. There is space to improve food quality such as using better sourdough bread on the croque and as a side, better quality cured meats and some better quality cheeses. Some cheese is very good others are ok. Excellent service, staff is attentive and nice. Warm atmosphere. Probably the best wine bar in the city

First of all, we would like to highlight the attention of Jonathan and Isabel, eager to give us the best, charming at all times. A place with special charm, very pleasant atmosphere at high tables and low tables. The menu offers multiple possibilities, and the boards are more than delicious, the 10 smoked products surprise with their quality and unmatched flavor. We will return every time we go to Edinburgh.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience here. We came in around 7pm for wine and charcuterie and were sat right away by a kind hostess. Then a gentleman (seemed like the manager, maybe even owner? came up and said “this table is reserved, I don’t know who told you to sit here.” We explained, he moved us to a table upstairs, seemed fine. We got our wine order….and then were never approached by a waiter again. The larger party also sitting in the upstairs section actually got up and waved and shouted down to the bar to get someone’s attention so they could finish their meal.
