Le Comptoir du Malt

Had dinner on a very quiet sunday. My beer was great and my burger superb. Unfortunately my partners choice of Flamkuche was disappointing.Not up to the Alsace version!

The chicken was over cooked and very tough. The food was tasteless and the waitress didn't really care that we didn't like our food. Avoid at any cost. Over priced food that tastes disgusting.

This was always a family favourite because of the kids menus and diy pizzas. Food is still good and at a fair price for a shopping centre caff. If you're shopped my and want a snack break, it's great.

J'ai essayé de prendre des boissons sans nourriture refusée alors que le restaurant était vide ! Je suis allé chez 3 brasseurs et j'ai fini par manger et boire car ils étaient très accueillants et gentils

Je suis venue la semaine dernière avec mon homme. Le personnel était misérable et le manager était dans une ligue à part ! La nourriture était sale. Évitez cet endroit car il y a beaucoup d'autres endroits à moitié décents.

Je suis allée en France pour la journée avec ma famille et nous sommes également allés en Belgique. Nous nous sommes arrêtés à Cité Europe pour faire du shopping et avons fini par nous arrêter au Comptoir du Malt. La nourriture était incroyable tout comme le service. Rien à redire...la serveuse sans oublier toutes les différentes bières et boissons qu'ils servaient. Globalement, c'était très agréable et nous y retournerons certainement bientôt.

Nous allons souvent dans un restaurant près de chez nous, mais comme cette visite était pour deux nuits, nous avons décidé d'essayer cet établissement aussi. C'était très acceptable, deux d'entre nous ont pris le menu formule et c'était bon rapport qualité-prix et savoureux. L'omelette et le burger achetés par notre groupe étaient d'un très bon standard. Comme nous logions à proximité, nous n'étions pas pressés par le temps. Cependant, la serveuse était plaisante et efficace.

J'ai mangé ici avant de rentrer chez Eurotunnel. J'ai attendu une éternité pour être servi. Pepsi commandé, aucun à la pression. J'ai eu un hamburger qui, pour être honnête, était très bon, mais le repas de mon partenaire était horrible. Le bœuf était dur et immangeable. Ma belle-fille a commandé un wrap qui est arrivé après que nous ayons fini nos repas. Les repas étaient accompagnés de légumes ou de frites à volonté, mais n'osez pas demander plus car le service était lent. Je ne le recommanderais pas.

We were in Calais for the day and dropped in to Cite Europe. We walked round the the large selection of restaurants just before 12 noon. Some would not serve us because they did not open until 12 but a charming waitress invited us in to Le Comptoir du Malt and settled us down with a drink and a English menu.Not surprising the wine was much cheaper than in England at about £3 for two medium glasses but the beer was more expensive being about £3.50 for half a pint.We both choose pizzas as there was a stone pizza oven and I opted for the "house special" which was a mixture of ham and cheese with a fried egg on the top.
