"I have eaten in quite a few restaurants in my long life and I can truthfully say that this is one of the best! My husband and I each had three courses as well as some wonderful local (Ventoux) white wine. We were presented with a little plate of thin, toasted baguette with gorgeous tapenade while we waited for our starters which were superb. He had stuffed mushroom and I had an outstanding savoury panna cotta with tomatoes. For the main course, he had the veal which he loved and I had a lovely piece of Angus beef with potato. For dessert he had a plate of French cheeses (which I, too, nibbled a little) and I had a shortbread biscuit with raspberry and pepper sorbet and creme vanille. All the food is prepared and cooked with love on the premises, the waiters are helpful and friendly. We are already planning a return visit to Avignon just so we can eat here again!"

Lovely meal, great ambience, welcoming and friendly staff. Even the choice of music was fantastic. We would highly recommend. A memorable evening.

Our tour guide recommended this restaurant. The ambience was truly wonderful. Ate outside. For appetizers my wife had the stuffed mushroom and I had the Foie gras. Both were delightful. Our main course was steak and veal with risotto. The veal dish was delicious. The steak was thin, over cooked and tough. My wife should have sent it back but did not. The price of the steak should have been adjusted but was not. The raspberry tart was ok. But the chocolate dessert was super good. Service was friendly but slow. Wine reasonably priced. Those around us had the steak and said it was delicious.

Generally, we really enjoyed sitting outside this restaurant and had a lovely three course meal, which was relatively reasonably priced for the South of France. The starter (just a solitary raw mushroom with cheese on the top) was a bit basic but the mains were delicious. The service, however, could have been better - we felt rushed at times and found the staff were quite off hand. Perhaps this was because we didn't speak in perfect French - although when we tried, we were told by the waiter to 'just speak English because we don't have all day'. Lovely haha! We arrived late and came for dinner after 10 pm. Most places are closed at this time, but here they still served food. They offer 2 types of dinner set: full set or set without main corse or without dessert. Foie gras was very good, champignon with mozzarella and caramelized onion was interesting but not really French. Promised angus sirloin steak seemed to be done from leftover meat, also they can do only medium or well, forget about rare. As a dessert we tried pineapple soup with mint and panna cotta, it was delicious and refreshing. The service was good. We also tried wine per glass, one they referred as light was quite good. Overall it wad a good experience, but a bit overpriced.

Our dinner here was one of our best meals during our two weeks in France. If you are able to plan ahead, I recommend reservations, but we - 2 of us - were able to get in on a Tuesday night so go if you can even without reserving ahead. We had duck carpaccio and pear soup to start, scallops and quail as main courses, and chestnut cake and lemon meringue tart for dessert. The tart was the best we have ever had and everything else was really good. The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The pace of courses was perfect, allowing us to enjoy our drinks and wine. The dining area is small and quiet which made our meal even more pleasurable. I hope to enjoy a meal here again sometime...

"Je suis un habitué ici, et je ne suis pas le seul lol ! Cet endroit est toujours bondé, c'est à la fois un repaire de locaux et un lieu où se retrouvent les touristes avisés. Je rencontre mes amis ici, je rencontre mes collègues ici, je rencontre la moitié de la ville ici... Et ça attire les locaux tous les soirs pour de bonnes raisons ! Alors, première chose : la commodité. Juste au bord de la rivière, cet endroit a son propre parking.Ensuite, l'ambiance: décor propre et shabby chic, cuisine centrale ouverte, généralement assez bondée, chef italien.... Cet endroit a l'atmosphère où il devrait être pour cuisine italienne savoureuse et moderne. Le service est rapide et les suggestions de vins correctes. Nourriture : ma partie FAVORITE ! J'adore l'italien et j'apprécie tout simplement un endroit qui le fait tellement bien! Simple, propre, moderne et savoureuse ! Leurs pizzas sont sans aucun doute les meilleures de la région, mention spéciale pour la Bianca et la Cosi. Leurs pâtes mettent l'eau à la bouche. Mais je trouve toujours que le meilleur de leur carte est leur plat du jour (par exemple magret de canard aux abricots, pavé de thon sauce italienne, filet mignon rôti...) et leur escalope de veau. En fait je suis un habitué de ce endroit presque uniquement à cause de leur escalope de veau. Tout simplement magnifique! Oh et leurs desserts.... Sont tout simplement délicieux, mention spéciale pour le parfait framboise-citron-chocolat blanc! Encore une fois, ce n'est pas une pizzeria bon marché à volonté. Les prix sont moyens. Mais la cuisine est authentique et irréprochable, le cadre très agréable, et c'est assurément un endroit où l'on reviendra après l'avoir essayé une fois."
