Nous avons mangé à l'hôtel chaque jour. Optez pour les plats principaux plus intéressants. Le plat d'agneau marocain était exceptionnel, un délice pour les papilles gustatives.

The quality of the food was excellent and the presentation could not be faulted. If the weather is good you can sit on the terrace and watch the clouds moving across the mountains.

Nous avons apprécié notre repas ici. Le menu est assez varié. L'un des rares restaurants où nous avons déjeuné qui propose un seau à glace pour notre vin... c'était super car il faisait 32 degrés ce jour-là. La liqueur offerte à la fin du repas a été très appréciée !

Nous avons failli ne pas manger ici car les avis n'étaient pas géniaux ou nombreux. Nous sommes heureux d'avoir essayé. Nous nous sommes installés dehors par une belle soirée chaude et cela a été rendu encore meilleur par le service que nous avons reçu. Le menu et les prix sont similaires à ceux des endroits voisins... et le lieu lui-même est magnifique. J'ai pris le "Mac and Cheese" local, qui était bien plus délicieux que ça en a l'air. Le dîner d'hier soir était fantastique ! Ils ont accueilli notre enfant de 5 ans si gentiment et si facilement. Il avait le choix entre du poisson ou du bœuf et un choix de frites, de légumes, de riz ou de pâtes. Nos repas étaient délicieux. Nous avons partagé les tapas, puis... avons pris le poulet et l'agneau épicés indiens de Marrakech. Il y avait suffisamment de pain frais et d'accompagnements. Le service était irréprochable. Le menu a une traduction en anglais pour nous, les non-francophones, et notre charmante serveuse parlait également anglais. Hautement recommandé.

We chose this restaurant out of the many in Talloires for the menu. I really fancied a burger and it didn't disappoint! We stated with the shared tapas which was really nice and plenty for 2 people. For the main i had the burger (yum) and my husband had Morracan lamb. The meat in both dishes was cooked really well. For dessert i had 'swiss dream' which was essentially an eton mess with ice cream, and my husband had blueberry tarte.The restaurant itself was a bit old fashioned - the decor. My wife and I have been travelling in southern France for two weeks and have eaten in bouchons, brasseries, and nicer restaurants. My wife is not a huge fan of organ meat or pork/ham which is very limiting for menu choices in this part of the country. I enjoy sampling everything. Quite often when we have been out for dinner it has been very difficult to find something on the menu that my wife would enjoy. I have found lots of tasty and interesting food but I had yet to find service that I thought was acceptable. La Charpenterie in Talloires was an awesome combination of both!
