we wanted to put a table in the empty dining room just before 18.00 hrs, the service had us a table, another table we couldn't choose. we therefore decided to dine elsewhere, at this service we do not want to experience the kitchen anymore.

a really very good food (münchner schnitzel) at extremely moderate price. very nice original and clean resataurant with unusual deko. we were extremely satisfied and come back. tip for the waiter: ballpoints in the dining room are disturbing.The waitress was very friendly and attentive. While we have been on our way to Italy we decided to have a short stop in Germany. We just left the motorway and ended up at the "Landgasthof Löwen". Opening hours are not worth mentioning (starting somewhere in the afternoon) and being to early we were direct y told to go away and that we are not welcome (the tone was more than rude). The time personal spent cursing us and would have been better invested by them into serving a coffee or glass of water, so we left the area quite perplexed. I could imaging the place to be nice for a coffee or cake, if opened and staff more hospitable.
