"Popped in yesterday after a dog walk around the lake. The staff were so accommodating given the fact that several people had rang in sick and let them down. Manager and a trainee (or chap who was very new) were doing everything they could to make things run smoothly. They kept calm and remained professional and focused throughout. We were warned that food could be up to 40 minutes, it arrived within 20! All well presented and absolutely worth what we’d paid. They were also very happy to accommodate our two dogs. The pub itself needs a refurb and the toilets are simply unacceptable. However the guys working yesterday 05/01/2024 deserved this 5* review alone. Managing to keep calm, remain professional and deliver great service in a very busy environment without sufficient staff is a real talent and deserves credit! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Fries, Steak Sandwich Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot"

Despite the team being a little short-staffed today (they did tell us before we sat down) we were looked after and attended with friendliness and professionalism. Relaxed atmosphere, honest food and excellent value. Our thanks to Daniel. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The restaurant provides a lovely setting for a Christmas Eve lunch. The food is tasty, but the portion sizes might not be enough for some. The price per person ranges from £20 to £30. The food quality is rated 3 out of 5, service is rated 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere is rated 4 out of 5. There is plenty of parking available, but it is paid parking in a nearby parking lot.

This restaurant has a beautiful view and ambiance with great potential, but unfortunately the food is extremely disappointing. The mac and cheese tasted like someone had thrown up on the plate and the onion rings were not good. The only decent part of the meal was the fries. Overall, it was not a great experience for a weekend lunch by the lake. Rating: Food 1, Service 3, Atmosphere 5.

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
