"It has been 5 years since I reviewed this well established restaurant, although we have been back a couple of times in between. It continues to deliver simple but well crafted dishes, graciously served and at fair prices in a peaceful and cozy setting. The wine selection is very good and they have an especially nice range of Rose's including some excellent French choices. Today we splurged on Fin de Claire oysters as a starter, even though I was apprehensive about their 600 mile trip from Normandy. No cause for worry. They were fresh and at their peak. My wife's spaghetti with clams and tuna bottarga and my orata Ligurian style were both commendable. Our desserts consisted mostly of house made sorbetti, and they were direct and delicious. Mellow, uncomplicated, but with high quality, La Vigna deserves its frequent praise. While there is some parking right below the restaurant, the corkscrew road up there from the center of Alassio is narrow and potentially treacherous. Well worth the 11-12 Euro taxi ride down or up for peace of mind, especially if you are going to partake of some alcoholic refreshment."

Amazing service, beautiful setting and delicious food. Only criticism is this time the seafood pasta was quite salty. It’s not usually like this so perhaps it was because they were super busy. Still the best restaurant in Alassio

Bella location con vista sul golfo di Alassio, antipasto di mare buono ma non eccezionale, tagliatelle al nero di seppia un po' troppo salate, mentre gli spaghetti con i ricci di mare deliziosi, un bel 10 per il dolce davvero ottimo! Voir le carte

ottima cena in un luogo suggestivo. i piatti erano tutti di ottima qualità e i prezzi allineati con il tipo di locale. i camerieri sono un po' fortunati, che è molto bello, che ha un lavoro sbagliato. L'unica nota dolorosa riguarda la proprietà, in linea con i camerieri che hanno commercio errato.

This pleasant osteria has a lovely perch and a mostly solid reputation. Yesterday's weekend lunch approached fine dining with all three courses being beautifully plated and well crafted. Service is friendly and the dishes come out quickly when they are ready. Near full capacity, you can see a bit of a strain in tempo, but it is best to relax and enjoy that view. The wine list is commendable. It is a worthy choice. Sure, there are several local restaurants with more creative kitchens. But you are likely to get your money's worth here.
