"We came, but left disappointed. The buffalina pizza had quite a bit of liquid on it which ended up soaking the dough. According to the server this is due to the mozzarella, but visually and taste it is disappointing. This seems random though because the other tables with this pizza did not have this problem On the other hand, it's a shame to find canned mushrooms rather than fresh ones. Hot glasses (probably out of the dishwasher) but to serve a beer or cold water in them is a shame. In the end, I think it would be worth a second visit, but with a more judicious choice of pizza."

we were here for dinner and had a bit of luck that we had the last table in their little outside seat. la vecchia napoli is a beautiful, busy restaurant, served (natural) pizzas, pastas and salads, but also fish and meat menus. the quality. of eating is good. the prices are moderate, so the price-performance ratio is more than ok. the service is also in order, no complaining.

we visited this restaurant twice before 2018 and 2019 when we had excellent pizzas in a busy, busy restaurant. unfortunately it is now a shadow of his former self. this can be because it is inaccessible because the footbridge in...storm alex was washed away. there was only one other table occupied, the staff was uninterested and we were served with two soggy pizzas. we find somewhere else to eat at our next visit in ventimiglia.
