"we haven't been here for a long time and it was really empty when we came to lunch at the weekend. Today the restaurant was very well visited and the chef waiter was probably also rarely well placed. entering the room is always happy. the large, high space with the patinated gold inarsien and the verbal bank share impresses easily. we got a nice table despite the crowd and were very friendly welcomed despite our long absentness. the waiters were friendly and fast, immediately brought brot, oliven and butter and we had to wait for prosecco and punt e mes also not long for the appetizer. the salate with nuts was a dense. well roasted pine and walnut seeds on an imaginatiw compound fresh salad, which convinces with its rounded balsamico dressing. the other appetizer, sharply roasted chamgions did not stand on ruccola. now we are looking forward to the good lugana lammcarré and tagliatelle with filetspitze. a pleasure was then really the lamb, but the fillet tips were without taste and this was completely uncomfortable. too bad, but overall there is a good impression and we know how good it was otherwise. on the winter days it is always a nice enrichment to go to the old bank."

I’ve visited La Vecchia Banca numerous times over the past years and I’ve never been blown away. Tonight was another try. The menu is kind of boring unless you order an expensive whole fish for 2+ people. The service is good but the food is average. I ate the goat cheese Brûlée and my colleague ordered the Vitello Tonato. I never saw such a boring preparation of the Vitello with really thick slices. Overall just average.

We had our business dinner in this restaurant and every one of us loved the atmosphere and amazing food. The staff was great. very friendly, funny and approachable which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the food was great quality, from the bread (god, I loved the crusty bread), to the steak and the amazing wine as well. I did not have to pay so I cant tell much about the prices but if you are looking for a fantastic quality dinner ....this is the way to go.
