"Italian restaurants are a favourite of mine and I have been lucky enough to enjoy a few across the planet including in the home country! So I feel a little qualified to compare and Piazza comes up with an ideal combination. One can eat real quality at very low prices or celebrate with more ambitious dishes for a little more which pays for the very high quality. The location and ambience in a charming country town all add to the attraction, which is why we drove almost an hour on a strong recommendation to have dinner. Welcoming friendly and flexible service which reacts quickly when something needs adjusting is always in tune. It is genuine cooking with wonderful Italian ingredients in a simple but intimate atmosphere. Whether enjoying the antipasti for 2 or enjoying truffle homemade ravioli or the excellent saltimbocca - it all does the soul good! Great restaurant which we will introduce to others."

My family and I visited this small town for dinner one night on our vacation. We stumbled upon this authentic restaurant ran by an Italian family from Rome. Our food was fantastic! The staff was wonderful and spoke English very well. I highly recommend this authentic restaurant.

The restaurant is in a prime location on a nice open square with a water fountain and lots of nice outdoor seating, perfect for an evening sitting in the sunshine.For the most part the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was quite good. I had one big issue though. There were 3 options for desert and we could not decide, so our waiter told us he would bring a small sample of all 3. We were happy with that until we realized that they were charging us as if we had ordered the 3 options in full. We complained lightly but they were not changing it. We begrudgingly paid and left.Normally I would say this is a pleasant restaurant to visit but keep that in mind.
