"on the road towards the old bussana, between the heights of the Ligurian hinterland, a row of wooden tables overlooking the sea of armour: the house looks like a tavern, a tavern, a simple place to re-oscillare after the mosquito on the uphill roads. If you are lucky and time is mild, you can sit out and stay enchanted at the view of the bay. if instead the season is not favorable, we sit in the interior rooms; the furniture is made of wood and stone and there is a large fireplace blackened by the branches: the environment recalls the old country houses where the family was only collecting next to the fire to listen and tell stories. Regardless of the place where you sit, you are wrapped with the intoxicating scent of grilled meat, ribs, steaks, juicy sausages cooked at the moment. the courtesy of the waiters and the impeccable presentation of the dishes make think of a star restaurant, the ornament that is missing only for the rustic aspect of the place; each course is decorated, the food is prepared in a precise way, from roses to potatoes to cart, from bruschette houseccia' to salads with celery, pears and nuts. the staff of the tavern is kind and offers in a more elegant way, composed and cared for on what does not require the type of room, inspiring in the customer a pleasant surprise. at the end of the meal, after a chocolate cheesecake of the best, a coffee and a digestive, you can raise with the smile: the price, absolutely irresponsible, is the last point in favor of the house, which should be counted among the best restaurants of the Ligurian."

"Ci sono andato sia da solo che con amici, accoglienza eccellente e servizio impeccabile, ragazzi giovani e sempre con il sorriso. La location è molto suggestiva con i tavoli esterni posti in un bel giardino. Menu in 4 lingue diverse, piatti diversi per soddisfare ogni palato ma non tanti da rallentare il servizio. Provato a pranzo e cena, serivizio veloce nonostante il ristorante fosse al completo. Cucina veramente ottima, piatti di mare in cui si sente veramente il sapore di ogni ingrediente, abbondanti e che saziano. Dessert eccellente."

"We went there for lunch, nice and cool inside and not overly crowded despite it being Ferragosta week. A short wait for menus as all the waiters were busy at other tables, but after that they took our orders quickly. We asked about the fish and decided on baked sea bass and were politely asked if we would prefer one big bream or two smaller bass but we stayed with our original choice. While we were waiting they brought us a complimentary plate of antipasti which were delicious. The fish was baked in the oven with olive oil, potatoes, trombette (a type of courgette) a little bit of tomato and the local taggiasca olives and was absolutely delicious. Wife said it was too much, but somehow she managed to eat it all. Not cheap, would maybe have been cheaper to have had the bream, but for the quantity and quality it wasn't overly expensive. A small carafe of the local wine and water with coffee to follow and the total bill was well under €50. Waiters were excellent the whole fish were filleted expertly and quickly at our table and they were efficient and friendly. The kitchen has a large serving hatch so you can see exactly what is happening there and all the food that came out looked appetising."

"3 years ago I went there and the portions were abundant yesterday I went back and despite the warnings about the abundant quantities they brought us a meager dish for what we paid for it and very little that at home with €9.50 I would have made a pasta allo 1KG rock then they added (not by mistake) 1 Fanta. Then for some grilled cuttlefish I waited half an hour than at home I did them in 12 minutes. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2"

"Fantastico ristorante con location incantevole. Siamo venuti diverse volte in queste settimane di vacanze e abbiamo sempre trovato lo staff professionale e competente, sempre accolti con un sorriso. Consiglio anche di visitare almeno una volta il paese Castellaro, dove si trova l'osteria, per immergersi ancora di più in quella bellissima atmosfera. La cucina è tipicamente ligure e di alto livello, i piatti sono veramente elaborati con ingredienti di ottima qualità, dai primi ai secondi dalla pizza ai dolci. Consiglio il tiramisù, gli spaghetti alla chitarra e la cima alla genovese. I proprietari inoltre auto-producono il loro olio e altri prodotti gastronomici rendendo l'esperienza ancora più intima e raffinata. Spero di tornarci di nuovo un giorno e di salutare il padre e il figlio, simpaticissimi e accoglienti. Bellissima esperienza e non solo per il mangiare."
