"Bad experience food was not good (no wonder, the dish arrived even before the drink). Absolutely not normal, and served cold. The owner/chef is quite arrogant. This is also seen in the response to his comments. In any case, it's not pleasant to be served there. It’s a profession of passion – that’s not his case. No wonder it closed. "the restaurant is located in a beautiful location, next to a harbour, on the lake. there are free parking nearby. on this Thursday evening the place was full. Our waitress was very friendly and tried to tell us German, but suddenly her layer ended at 19:30 and we had to leave the staff so that we could order the wee. it took at least one hour to serve the main courses after the order, and because the service was so slow and angry, we did not order more than a bottle of wine (and we were six people). the registration of our contact data was so confusing that we finally gave up these efforts. why not use a piece of paper? on the positive side the dishes were beautifully presented and served with delicious marinated vegetables. the pork chops were tender, but a little dry. we tried to book a table by email, but no answer to our post, finally called and said they don't take email reservations. please bring back paper menus!"

"I’ve been going to Buffet du Tram in Cortaillod for ages, and it’s always buzzing. Seriously, it’s like a little piece of Paris right here with its lively, noisy vibe – no music needed. Just a heads up, it’s super popular, so make sure you book a table in advance. Parking’s usually easy to find, but it can get packed. Inside, it’s always full but in a good, lively way. The staff are amazing, even when it’s super busy. They’re quick and always friendly, which just adds to the whole experience. Now, let’s talk food – the filet de perche is my go-to, especially with boiled potatoes (though loads of folks swear by their handmade fries). They’ve got a bunch of other great stuff too, using local ingredients, and the desserts are worth saving room for. Plus, they’ve got this nice selection of local wines that really hit the spot. Honestly, Buffet du Tram is just a great place to hang out and enjoy some good food. It’s got this great, bustling vibe that keeps me coming back. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t yet!”"

"When you at a restaurant that is listed in the Michelin guide you expect the food to be great ...and indeed it was. Service was great .. nothing to say. Food as a starter , tuna cubes , a new interpretation on sashimi, with soy sauce and wasabi simple, tasty, perfect sashimi. As a main course, monkfish sea devil again, perfectly done, moist but cooked through, with vegetables and butter sauce ... again simple but very very tasty dish. In terms of drinks they have a great selection , wines, beer, strong spirits, you name it. Prices well it is a fine dining place ... so pending on your choice , the price may vary still a very good price to quality ratio (of course it is always debatable if it is worth the price, but from my perspective every once in a while it is definitely worth it ... since you don 't go everyday to a restaurant listed in the Michelin catalogue) Overall an excellent place, with excellent food , when you are in the area I recommend you look it up."

"Comment peut on ne pas aimer ce resto ?...J'avoue, on y va souvent. C'est à coté de la maison, c'est bon, le service est impeccable. La patronne est toujours sympa avec nous, on se raconte nos vacances, on se montre les photos.... La serveuse est très serviable et gentille. J'ai lu plus bas un commentaire totalement injustifié sur le mauvais accueil dans ce restaurant. CE N'EST PAS VRAI. La postcard n'est en effet pas acceptee. Et alors ? D'abord, c'est indiqué sur la porte. Et si le client ne sait pas lire, il est informé via des dessins que meme les sans cerveau peuvent comprendre. Ensuite, à 30 metres du resto, il y a un DAB. Et puis de temps en temps, en fin de service, le patron boit une biere au bar. Et alors ? On est dans une auberge de commune, un restaurant familial, ou il fait bon vivre, pas dans un de ces restaurants 12 etoiles, dans lesquels une kyrielle de serveurs habillés en pingouins vous remplit votre verre d'eau à peine posé sur le table et ou on vous sert des Madaaaaaaame et des Mosssssieuuuu à longueur de soirée. Bon. Et la pizza dans tout ça ?....Et bien la carte a ete changée il y a peu. Moi qui prenais toujours la meme, poivron chorizo, j'ai opté pour celle à la truffe. Absolument délicieuse. Et le dessert au chocolat, une merveille. Et le café aussi. Toujours servi avec un petit biscuit, ce qui n'est pas le cas partout !!!!Il me sembait juste de rétablir la vérité. Si des gens veulent aller dans de mauvais restaurants, qu'ils regardent dans mes commentaires, j'en ai trouvé des biens gratinés...A bientot, auberge de commune de bevaix. :-)"
