Emailed to get directions and got a nice response. Took a bus up to Paiano and then hiked up to the place. Not a soul to be found. Had to walk miles back down to Ischia Porto. I was in this lovely restaurant on Thursday night. what to say impeccable from a to z. very nice location . very professional and courteous staff. So much stuff their home appetizer, the eggplant parmigiana is practically a continuous standing ovation. excellent laundry with rabbit sauce and especially the same rabbit to the ischitana. excellent in everything.

I think I have just experienced a little bit of heaven. The antipasti was delightful, the pasta using a sauce made from a reduction of the sauce left from cooking the rabbit was wonderful. The rabbit itself was succulent and delicious. The waiter recommended the house wine! The cheapest on the list and it was a perfect accompaniment. I believe they don’t take card payments so be prepared.

We had the most amazing evening at this wonderful restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible- it’s almost impossible to name our favourite dish! However what made the experience so magical was how the restaurant treated us like family and shared every element of the food/the wine/ their lifestyle with us that we we were interested in. It was such a magical evening in a glorious setting and we would strongly encourage anyone visiting Ischia to go- you will be delighted you did! Se volete provare i veri sapori ischitani non potete non andare dal Sargente. Gli antipasti sono abbondanti e gustosi e soprattutto la pasta con il sugo di coniglio e da non perdere. Su tutti gli gnocchi che abbinati al coniglio sono la vera soecialita della casa! If you want to taste the real kitchen of the Island you cannot miss this restorant. It is really very tasty and generous with the portions. The pasta with the rabbit souce is a must and you cannot loose it. Prices are absolutely very competitive compared to other restaurats on the Island. You cannot miss it!!

is a characteristic place, and above all silent. the entrance is lined with a vineyard that accompanies you to the restaurant. the kitchen is good, as if she cooked her grandmother. we paid 25 euros to eat per head: appetizer x 2, consisting of 2 slices of zucchini, 2 slices of eggplant, a taste of peppers, a cutter with 4/5 slices of ham and various meats and 2 slices of cheese. the appetizer was poor but the first dish was more abundant. a bitter. You pay little but eat the right without arrogance. I really like this place because it is immersed in peace and discretion.

Spent our last night on Ischia at this restaurant , we were warmly greeted by the hosts . The food was delicious , one anti paste was enough for 3 of us . The mixed grill was delicious and cooked to perfection . The setting is very nice , may be a little hard to find if you don't use google maps . After we had eaten and were leaving , the owner came and asked us how we enjoyed everything , asked us about our stay in Ischia and was genuinely interested in what we had to say . This was such a nice touch. If we are in Ischia again we will eat here for certain , I highly recommend this place , you wont be disappointed Voir le carte
