Kung Fu Oriental Buffet

Doing some Christmas shopping so decided to go in for Lunch, £17.99 per person, every single thing was cold, food was not good, dry and tasteless,drinks were over priced. Will not be going back. Lots of much better places to eat in Stains, avoid this place.

Not good food was cold and completely tasteless and most of the dishes where empty we asked the staff to fill them up but all they done was walk away ,they are quick enough to take your money but not to fill up food service dishes so I will not be going there again

Absolutely disappointed. Cold, bland, trays empty, no flavour, dry desserts. Absolutely avoid at all costs. 2nd time coming, thought because we came late last time this was why food was dry and empty but same again. Honestly don't waste your money. Worst buffet I have EVER been too Voir le carte

Awful experience. Soft drinks aren't included in the price and the prices are extortionate! The manager was unhelpful and rude. Practically said take it or leave it. The food was cold and the grill had no vegetables nor a proper meat selection. This place is a temporary set up designed to rip people off. Do not eat there!

Visited with family on a Monday afternoon. Lots of food selection which tasted yummy. Very good price at £9.99 also. Very good value for money. Some of the food could’ve been slightly warmer but overall we enjoyed it. Drinks weren’t that expensive either. Apparently they do more food and desserts at dinner. Can’t really grumble for £9.99 each for all you can eat buffet.

Went in to have lunch. 2 people £35. Pay extra for drinks. That's as soon as you get in the door. Fine. Until you taste the food. Food was dry/hard and tasteless. Dump loads of sauce on it and you have a taste. The trays on the buffet were not very clean. Food stuck to places. The noodles were stuck to the tongs you use to pick up, gave that a miss. The whole buffet was so unhygienic. We were starving, paid our money and ate what we thought was ok. But never ever to go back again. Waste of money. Voir le carte

Surly manager. Waited for staff at the steak grill hot plate- unmanned. Asked the manager twice if it was operating, no reply the third time he snapped ‘he’s coming’ I replied so is Christmas. Young teenager finally came out drinking a coke and playing on his mobile. Started to charge it and kept drinking. Finally approached me still drinking, no apron just the tee-shirt he was wiping his phone screen and glasses on. Didn’t wash his hands but lifted his top to scratch his back while nodding to let me know he was ready. I told him I didn’t want anything as he wasn’t very hygienic and he grinned

Went with family, after booking somewhere else, just happened to walk by, without checking reviews like we normally do, however the venue itself looked clean and lots of selection, why we changed our minds on where to eat. First dish for me was cold thai chicken, was it meant to be cold, surely not if in the same section as warm bbq wings. Went for some noodles and again cold. Not great tbf. Coated prawns weren't cleaned, however the other prawn dish I had, they were all cleaned, so stuck with that dish and it was good. Overall, the food was tasty and I would go again, when back in the area. Noted maybe the dishes were cold from spoons being left in the trays, which meant the lids can't keep...

Having reviewed this restaurant before with 5 stars and always been very happy during a total of 3 visits last year this was the first visit in 2023. On a positive note: the lunch menu at £9.99 Monday to Friday is still great value if not even better value now than before as prices for cost of living and eating out have gone through the roof. Choose from 60 dishes and eat as much as you like for the same price Five Guys charges for just a cheeseburger without anything on the side! Also a pint of Stella at £4.90 from the tap is excellent value keep in mind it’s in most places now at least £6 for a Stella or similar beers.
