Delicious, mostly local, wonderfully prepared fresh food in an unforgettable atmosphere! Fresh herbs are cultivated by the cook Volker Krehl in his own herbal bed. For our Amuse-Bouche we had a sampling of Fenchel (soup, Gratinée, croustillant). There were nine of us in our party....(reservations recommended! We all enjoyed our meals and service.

Not a big restaurant, not a big carte, but all therein deserves attention! I personally did not go for the big "menu", since was afraid it'd be too much for a dinner, bur even the single dishes need all your attention :) everything's delicious, and the small restaurant was full.A very good service, too - attentive and English speaking, if you need one. The Hotel/Restaurant Krehls Linde is located just off the north of Cannstatt city centre. For business trips I found a pleasant, quiet accommodation here twice. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The restaurant on the ground floor is usually well visited until evening. The menu offers classic German or if you want Swabian cuisine at tolerable prices. The muzzles and the hunter's carving have definitely tasted very well. In addition, the services and the room service are always friendly and helpful.

I gave my wife a stay at the Krehl’s Linde Hotel in connection with a concert at Winzemann. I wanted to book the Junior Suite on booking.com as I liked the photos on which you signed the Junior Suite (picture is with “Junior Suite”). I then called again there and the boss offered me the Junior Suite for a 5 Euro cheaper price. So I booked directly. The big surprise came when you arrived. We got an old-fashioned, relatively small room that had nothing to do with the room/suite that was pictured on the photo. I asked how that could be. I had never spent time in Stuttgart and my traveling companion and I didn't want to stay at a big American hotel downtown.Based on the recommendation of a former colleague, we stayed 2 nights at Krehls Linde and could not have been happier with the experience.I was in room 25, the "modern" and my companion was next door in the "Asian" room. Both rooms were singles and small as you would expect in Europe but we each had our own bathroom. Both were impeccably clean. My bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep each night.We were greeted with friendliness and felt completely taken care of upon checkin.
