"We had dined in this restaurant back in 2018 during our Europe tour and absolutely loved the food. So this time we wanted to cap off our Vienna visit with dinner here. We booked a table for 3, including my 4 year old and went to this restaurant and what followed was absolutely atrocious display of discrimination and disrespect by the server in the blue uniform with glasses. We entered the restaurant climbing the 2 stories of flights and were told immediately, without even checking with us, that no tables will be given if we don't have reservations. Post this interaction, this person/waiter/server started concentrating on a table full of European guests and one Indian who appeared to know this person well. When I caught his attention again and told him that we do have a reservation through Fork, he started cursing Fork stating that they just send people in without confirming with them. Mind you, at this time there are 3 tables which are empty right in front of us. This person tells us that the wait time is 30 mins, which seemed like just an excuse to get rid of us. He didn't even gave a look at my son, who was fidgety and cranky because of a tiring day and also being hungry. At this point he went back to his European guests party and didn't even look back at us. We started making our way down when a couple of ladies who just finished their dinner, came down and told us that there are 4 tables including theirs empty now and we should try again and that what this person did to us was totally disrespectful. However, we didn't want to get insulted by this person again as the actions clearly seemed racist and discriminatory to us. I would request anybody reading this review to avoid this restaurant like a plague, especially if you belong to a minority ethnic group as this restaurant and particularly this person doesn't seem to care for people even with reservations if they belong to a minority ethnic group and will only devote energy to European clients or Indians who are his friends. We will never set foot in this racist and discriminatory establishment ever again and If i could, i will rate them below zero. P.S Shout out to Taste of India in Marxregasse who not only were polite but also made sure that they accommodate us at the last minute with really good food. Separate review on that later"

One of the best Indian food I have tasted outside of India or USA. Courteous service and amicable staff. Highly recommend try their Dal, Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer

This place was pretty good. I had Chicken Korma which I had them prepare spicy. Was very good, but presentation was gross dingy brown color, For an appetizer, I had minced pork rolls. They were good, but looked like two dog turds on a plate. Made me laugh, See attached picture, Weak beer selection. Has a couple good wines but nothing spectacular.

Friendly service and amazing food. In two different dinners, we tried mix of Masala Chai, Lassi, Daal, Lamb Curry, Chicken Curry, Chilli Paneer, Veg Briyani, Lacha Parantha, Tandoori Roti, Cheese Naan, Naan and Gazzar Halwa. Each and every items was treat to Indian taste buds. Highly recommend if you have sampled all the goodness of Austrian delicacies in old city, and want to end the day with relaxed Indian meal. For estimates on cost, for us both occasions party of 4, spend was around $25/person.

The Kohinoor is a restaurant that will leave a lasting impression on one's tastebuds. I completely enjoyed my experience at the Kohinoor. The service was fast and the food was extremely good. Even though we came late, the waiter was patient and recommended us great food. Additionally, the restaurant was clean and in good condition. Overall, The Kohinoor was a very nice restaurant. A 5 star review based on what we ate. Recommend the Peshawari Naan, daal and Kofta. Cozy place not far from the happening city center in Vienna.
