Old beach hotel, very charming and good service, but all a bit worn down. Also a room with 2 pushed together single beds is not a double bed. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly

Lovel day spent relaxing by the pool. A bit of a wait to give our lunch order but once recorded did not have to wait too long for the food to be served. Personal favorite place for a short break. Facing the sea, a short walk to a National Trust managed beach and site. Variety of walks in the vicinity of the hotel. We've being coming here a long time ,it's, a lovely hotel.we where here 2 weeks ago, this time, Swimming pool is cold and dirty ,our room , has not been cleaned, or no fresh towels.ordered paper, the receptionist, said I did not ,very, poor, attitude, from staff,in reception, very disappointed, hotel, does not care for it's customers ,any more, no money is getting spent, until hotel gets ,its big renovation, next year or two,.dave hancock Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 5

Fantastic location but some terrible customer service. We arrived on Friday evening after having requested a restaurant booking for 8:30. Our train was delayed and at 8:15 we called the hotel to ask if our table could be pushed back to 8:45 but were told the restaurant was closing at 8:30. I mentioned the restaurant reservation but they said it was a mixup and that was for breakfast in the morning until then I admit I had not ever experienced any hotel taking timed bookings for breakfast. I explained we had come from London and it was a Friday evening, could they not offer us any food? The man on the phone said they could offer 'some biscuits '.
