We go regularly as it is a great place for lunch. Great food and a fantastic service with a really good choice. Thoroughly recommended.

Best cafe I have been to. Dog friendly, the service was quick and very helpful, especially with finding a good table for us. Proper cup of tea, soup and dorset apple cake were all delicious.

We waited 45 mins for our food (standard cooked breakfast) yet it came out wrong so had to change it and wait again. Was tiny portions and very undercooked! "Situated conveniently in the main street this was the first cafe we visited in Wareham. Initially it was because it was one of the few still open at 4.45 so we sat in the small sunny courtyard with 2 children and the dog, for whom water was voluntarily brought. This was a thoughtful touch. The menu was varied with homemade cakes plus panini and other light lunch favourites. The earl grey tea was good which is always a good recommendation. We returned a further 3 times and would have been more had they been opened Sunday. The cafe wasn't busy, unlike the cafes by the river so finding a peaceful retreat was easier."

"We arrived at the restaurant half an hour early and were promptly seated at our table, which was great. We enjoyed some drinks and conversation before placing our order. We were informed that the kitchen was busy and there would be a slight delay, which we understood given the packed restaurant. However, after an hour passed, we still hadn't received our food while other tables that arrived after us were being served. Just as we were about to inquire about our order, the Head chef realized that it hadn't been placed yet. We decided to cancel our starters and just ordered our mains, as we were quite hungry by then. Fortunately, the food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented and delicious. Dessert was also homemade and delightful. The only disappointment was the lack of apology for the delay and mishap with our order. A simple gesture of apology would have gone a long way in improving our overall experience."

"AMAZING sirloin steak with all the trimmings, mushrooms (that actually tasted like mushrooms! , tomato, peas and let me swap my fries for a proper baked potato! Only wish I'd had room for pudding! Beautiful old fashioned English boozer!!"

"I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. it is a very welcoming place and has friendly and very helpful staff. there is a great selection of food and eating is simply delicious, beautiful and hot. we ate here two nights in a row and were not disappointed. they were very helpful in my nutritional requirements, which is very soothing. beautiful clean restaurant with a great character. I would recommend most definitley here to friends and family and most definitley come back. Thank you."
