J'ai trouvé cet endroit juste en face de la hauptbahnhof, mais niché dans une rue latérale. L'extérieur est assez discret mais l'intérieur est charmant. Le personnel était sympathique, la nourriture était incroyable et le prix était raisonnable pour la qualité. Un choix décent de plats allemands pour certains.

Je ne sais pas s'ils n'aiment tout simplement pas les étrangers, mais le service était tout simplement inexistant ici. Nous avons été laissés en attente à table totalement ignorés par plusieurs membres du personnel pendant une bonne vingtaine de minutes jusqu'à ce que nous puissions commander des boissons. Et c'était même ...

I don't know if they just don't like foreigners, but the service was just non-existent here. We were left waiting at table - totally ignored by several staff - for a good twenty minutes until we were able to order drinks. This restaurant was discovered by our Belgian friends: it is actually very central, but hidden away in a side street. We had a very pleasant evening here, starting with a little aperitif in the bar area. We then moved to the restaurant area, which is below street level. This is nicely decorated, with modern art on the walls. Service was friendly. The food offer was a selection of steaks, Schnitzels (including the original Wiener, made of veal), fish... all nicely prepared. We all enjoyed out dishes. After the complete renovation of the Kiepenkerl restaurant in August 2016 and after reopening with a slightly modified concept, I was looking forward to the new facility and the menu of the Kiepenkerl. On Thursday last week I was a guest with friends and we were not disappointed. The new room concept, the modified color scheme combined with a sophisticated, new lighting and minimalist decoration, represents a significant improvement to my taste.
