"As locals, I and my family visited many of the local restaurants. However, we have been shocked by this, as we think it is very overestimated. The restaurant itself is usually ok, the service was good, but the food was just terrible. With a salad that had a terrible goat cheese (probably frozen before) and even worse dressing, a terrible season special (subpart geese for two of us) it had no redeeming qualities. I would go personally for all the other Top Ten of Tripadvisor, we've all visited them and they were all better. However, this is only our experience here, please feel free to try it yourself! Make yourself a favor and do not order seasonal goose or salad here, very disappointing on the front"

Fitted in without a booking. Good atmosphere and good food. The place is small, so in winter it can be hard to find a place at busy times

Saw outside on a Saturday when the market slowed down. Food was good and service fast. They had special areas on board. If you are looking for a good German fast lunch, it is.

Die Gerichte sind einfach, aber -oder vielleicht deswegen- hervorragend. Man kann Mühe bei der Zubereitung spüren.Es lohnt sich auch eine von den hausgemachten Spirituosenzu probieren.

Nicht nur die Altstadt in Esslingen ist immer eine Reise wert, sondern auch der Kielmeyers Besen. Das Fleisch ist sehr zart und das Gemüse knackig. Ich kann dieses Restaurent sehr empfehlen!!!!

Im Rahmen der Morgentour besuchten wir Esslingen. In der Mittagspause gingen wir zum Essen in Kielmeyers Besen.Gute schwäbische Küche, leckeres Essen zu adäquaten Preisen.Empfehlenswert und mitten in der Stadt am Markt.

Amazing restaurant, delicious food and quite large portions. The staff was incredibly nice and hospitable, we even have 2 shots on the house at the end. If you are lucky to be there on a sunny day, the view from a table outside is very nice and chilled. Definitely recommend going there!

Im Besen trifft man sich am besten in geselliger Runde: allein käme man sich wahrscheinlich etwas verloren vor.Bei deftigen schwäbischen Spezialitäten, zu denen am besten ein gut gezapftes Bier passt - aber auch Schoppenwein wird ausgeschenkt - lässt man es sich gut gehen. Gemütlicher Treffpunkt zu fairen Preisen!

Ate here in late afternoon (not yet evening) with my spouse and youngest two children. There were other young families as well on the outside terrace and no one was disturbed by the kids playing. The late afternoon sun was perfect for autumn and we had a terrific outdoor meal. It's a great place to park and finish a day trip to Esslingen.
