Keu serves up some of the best banh mi I’ve had in London. Plus, it’s open in the evenings too.

The BBQ Pork Banh Mi comes with a generous amount of pork with a punchy lemon grass smack of flavour, but may have been a little over cooked.

yes I still know a dish, but wow this place was great! authentic Vietnamese food packed with taste. they had a great variety and I would go back there to eeny, meeny, many, moe with the menu. Voir le carte

I rather liked the modern décor, putting an avant-garde spin on your typical Chinatown restaurant (with it’s rather succulent looking hanging roast meats), and a sandwich shop (with many condiments on display).

I went for the classic, which, while not being socks blowing off amazing, I still appreciated the thicker than normal smear of chicken liver pate than I’ve experienced with other Bahn Mi. Crunchy and fresh, an added splash of soy sauce heightened the flavours.

this is a rather short and crisp blog post about a lunch I had last week at keu in shoreditch. I went past the restaurant several times and it always looked to be popular. I wasn't exactly sure what they served, except that I had seen something about “Vietnamese Baguettes” that sounded quite incredible! As they might know, I'm a bit of a sandwich-fiend, so it was about time I went in there to see what was going on! Voir le carte

nice banh mi!. although I never traveled to vietnam and the only one I tried before was ghastly I thought I would give this place one away. I wasn't disappointed. I had the classic with a belly, chicken liver pate and a boar. it was dressed with jap mayo, chili sauce, maggi liquid spicy mooli, fresh chili, gurke and fresh coriander. wowzer! it was lush! the baguette had the perfect crust that give a spring light crawls. all in all a great sanger.

bad food! bad service! bad portions!. I went with my friends to lunch in keu and ordered the chicken salad. it came to 5,50 with card fee and I was handed over my order. it came in a standard size removal box and was literally 3 mouthful- half the box- a long way to touch the sides. it was just a couple of chickens with pear sprouts! I went to the dame at the theke and said that the saiad was tiny for the £5 I paid! she srug her shoulders and said that this was only the part they served. ridiculous! I said I would never go there again and I suggest that other people don't! go better into hisu/pod/Japanese kitchen for an salat! bad service!

you don’t know how excited i was about taking the boy (tom) to try a vietnamese baguette in one of mY favourite places in london. i was highly disappointed i never got to try any in hanoi just a couple of weeks before! another restaurant to chathe bread was so fresh and crispy. i remember when they first opened and the bread recipe wasn’t perfected yet. it was pretty darn chewy and not so tasty. i can now happily confirm that their bread is perfect! the ingredients were also refreshing: fresh herbs, pickled veg and chilli. tom preferred the classic and i’m not surprised because we also luuurve pâté! the flavours in the classic was compelling! sweet, smooth, crunchy, pickled...read more Voir le carte
