I really recommend this restaurant. I lived in Greece a long time ago and after a long time we managed to taste a really traditional Greek food. well made kerl is!!! the service very efficient and friendly.

Achter ons hotel (Astoria City Resort Essen) bevindt zich een prima Grieks restaurant. Vanuit het hotel loop je via de tuin zo naar het terras van het restaurant toe. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er is voldoende keus, prijzen zijn erg schappelijk en ook erg lekker. Absoluut de moeite waard !

not only our food was great, but. one of my children is a very difficult customer. we asked for something that wasn't in the menu. they did it and made some suggestions for him to try. Das Restaurant hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente und ist auch perfekt für ein romantischen Abend geeignet. Das Essen dort ist wirklich sehr gut und auch der Service ist immer zur Stelle.Wir haben dort eine Hochzeit gefeiert und sehr schön war das alles extra dekoriert wurde und alles genau nach Plan lief wie wir es vorher besprochen hatten.

Wir waren schon bei vielen „Griechen“ in Essen, aber hier sind wir wirklich überrascht worden! Total :O) Ein einzigartiges Salat-Buffet, wirklich unglaublich! Die Grillspezialitäten sind hier ebenfalls ein Erlebnis! Wow! Sehr freundliche Bedienung, Top Ambiente und 100% Sauberkeit – das haben wir noch nirgendwo so erlebt. Das Lokal ist gut besucht (heißt auch was!). Wir kommen wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

The restaurant is located in City of Essen, directly at a subway station. Formerly, it was a spacy restaurant, but it seems that the service area is reduced now. Anyway, we had no reservation and a choice of several tables. The focus is greek cuisine,...you know gyros, suvlaki, zaziki and so forth. We ordered appetizers, main dishes and desserts. The waitress was very friendly, delivery was very fast. As we ordered asymetric, every course was skipped by one of us, the service was mixed up a bit. Anyway, everything went fine, the meals were good, but the portions were huge, so think about an appetizer. We had salad, gratined gyros, and named' meat plates.
