Kachelhaus - Menu

one of my favorite places in bielefeld. the decor is great and mermian is a young, lively waitress outstanding. the bile fields salat.

Nice lokation with a verry nice ambiente. Good place for coffee, sitting, reading a book or watch the people. The good coffee is served by friendly staff.

This place is more internacinale pizza, pasta, burgers, locals are coming to celabrate things there. me as visitor for this city want a german food, so i was a bit disapinted in that aspect.

Nicely decorated establishment in the centre of old town. The menu is quite limited and centred around either pizza or pasta. If you're happy with such a short selection then the food and portion sizes are good.

So today we were there with 6 people for breakfast and didn't find it as good as it was. Coffee and other drinks have been waiting for you for a long time. It also took a very long time to refill the buffet when something was missing. The staff was very friendly, but often also concerned with themselves. Too bad. I don't think we're back.

ok, to christmas there are more lights than usual, but it was still a nice place to sit and watch the world over. it is very open, eating is easy, e.g. tart-flambee, or burger, salate. Previously it was a deli. and many of the previous furniture like the counter were reused in some way. many coffee variations that eating came fast, looked appetit and the service was good.

if we want to eat some local food, we have been happy to eat this very eclectic place. well decorated and great ambiente. very good service, but could not find the local kitchen we were looking for. only local beer and design was just the popular brand, can not remember. the name, but we could get a great suppe and a burger that are both incredible. the bum on the burger had a sweet acidic digestion about it that really gave it the signature. very fulfilling courts. they enjoy the local and service. would go back but knowing it is not a local food. should enjoy it tyme.

beautiful open atmosphere with long tables. they also have smaller side tables if they want a personal culinary experience. they had an English menu that seemed as long as the German, who is always nice to know that they get all the options. I had the Bielefeld salad, which was described as with some steak and kartoffeln I enjoyed several cuts of bark (can it be steak, maybe it was a cut bark round,) a whole half cut roasted potatoes, and a partly mixed greens with dressing. not exactly the American expectation of an evening meal nice, but I was not disappointed because the taste was. I finished my meal with a whirlpool with vanilla sauce. it was in the sosse!

We have lived in Bielefeld for 3 years now. My wife and I often arrange to meet in town for lunch on a Friday. Where should we go today? After a bit of head scratching and a few half hearted suggestions, we invariably end up...at Kachelhaus. In the Altstatdt, you can 't miss it on a corner next to the Johannesburg Albrecht Brauhaus. The outside is dressed with wonderful old green tiles (Kachel), from Meissen. Inside is roomy but always cozy, with a real buzz. Plenty of flammpizza, flamkuchen, schnitzel, pasta and the dish of the day is generally very good.
