"This place used to be great and we were regulars here. We visited last weekend and were shocked by how downhill the service has gone. The manager/owner is extremely rude and borderline aggressive to customers. We booked for breakfast and after waiting a while to be seated were then left with menus for around 15 20 minutes with not a look from a member of staff. When I asked the grey haired man the manager/owner, if we could order a coffee, I was told ‘in a minute’ and to ‘wait my turn’ and that the staff were extremely busy even though there were not many tables and we only wanted to order drinks. The same man then approached the table and aggressively said ‘are you in a rush?’ and that it was cooked fresh so we would have to ‘wait our turn’ like we were school kids he was giving a telling off! He then walked off and did not take our drinks order. At this point It was approaching half an hour and as we still hadn't been able to order a coffee we decided to leave and went for breakfast at Sandwich Lakes up the road instead. There we were greeted with friendly faces and coffees were not too much trouble. It’s really disappointing to see Juliets go so downhill Which is mostly attributed to the manager/owner who thinks that because they are busy he can be rude to customers. What was once a local favourite, we won’t be visiting again"

The lunch was fantastic, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was excellent. The restaurant is also dog-friendly and has heaters outside to keep you warm on chilly days. Overall, there was nothing not to like.

Lucky find. Super friendly staff. Lovely location. Great atmosphere. Eggs Benedict/Royal perfect. All eggs straight from their own free range hens. Little, interesting fatmshop attached. Worth a little look see. Popular little place that's worth booking a table if you don't want to be disappointed. Voir le carte

So this was my third visit in 12 months and arrived with NO booking and the BEST yet. Great service and food and nice people. I am sure two sides to every story when readng the negative reviews but certainly I have only praise. And..the BEST quality Breakfast and drinks for a long time. Clean too.... with a staff that could not do enough to help. Keep the faith.... Locally your in top grade of places to go.

I discovered Juliet’s via a friend and have returned about 5 times since my first visit. It gets very busy here, so I would recommend booking if you can. Most recent visit was for breakfast, absolutely delicious. We have the best iced coffees I’ve ever had. The outside pergola seating is spotlessly clean. It really is my go to choice now. Staff are attentive, polite if there is a longer wait that normal they will tell you when you order. This is a really lovely venue and independent at that will continue to support introduce my friends and family too.

I recently visited Juliettes for the second time this summer. The first time I had their delicious full afternoon tea, and this time I went for a friend's birthday lunch. Once again, everything was delicious and I couldn't find a single fault. I ordered the scampi, while two friends had the Angus burgers, all of which were lovely, fresh, and hot. The tartar sauce must have been homemade because it was fantastic. We couldn't resist trying the desserts, which were filled with so much fruit in the sundaes and pavlova. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and the staff provided friendly and well-organized service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Voir le carte

I have just returned from juliettes with 2 friends. They have both been to juliettes before but it was my first visit. We had the afternoon tea, and what a feast, by far the best I have ever had and certainly the best value, soo much choice of cakes, scones sandwiches and delicious sausage roll, the owner was soo attentive, we had booked for 12.15 and were seated straight away. Choice of inside or out, we chose to eat in but outside looked lovely to, within 5 minutes all our afternoon tea was laid out and staff kept bringing us fresh pots of tea, also told we cld have a coffee if we wanted 1,thankyou juliettes for a lovely afternoon and we will certainly return, also bought biscuits fudge an...

We Turn up for lunch and were sat down at a table, 2 ladies walked in after us and were seated too. We had menus and had decided what we wanted whilst watching staff walk past us. A member of staff proceeded to go to the 2 ladies seated after us and asked what they would like but they replied with could we have more time please. We waited still staff whilst walked past us. Eventually I walked up to the counter and asked if I could order and was told ‘could I wait we are working to a list’ whatever that means at which point I walked out. I am more than happy to wait for food but it’s not too hard making 2 coffees for someone who is willing to wait. I live in the village and was a recent regul...
