"I went today with my family to j&rs grill . I have been here a few times before and l have enjoyed ever meal I have had . Everything is made fresh , tastes fresh and looks fresh and delicious. Today I had surf&turf which...was steak and scampi which comes with a side order of chips, salad and onion rings it is also served with fried onion and mushrooms . I could not find fault with it . My husband had a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings and my daughter just loves the sweet chilli chicken panini. It comes with chips side salad and crisps . The whole meal was delicious and the scampi was to die for. Excellent portions, staff extremely friendly and they have a great menu to suit all tastes offering vegetarian options. It is also great value for money . I really cant praise this place enough. It is definitely one of my favorite places to eat. I would recommend you try it to see for your self and would be very surprised if you didn't return.i definitely will be .oh and the place is spotless too. Well done to j&rs."

I've been here for a few years and I've never been disappointed. the personal is friendly and the menu is good; there are usually daily specialities. be careful when they order that what will come on their table... be real! but I'm not a false amount for quality. both are remarkable for the modest prices. it is a family-friendly place, and it has no pretensions to offer everything, except good home-made foods that meets the place. I think they make a great job! Voir le carte

The perfect place for a hot lunch on a miserable, rainy afternoon. We rang ahead and asked for a table, which they said wouldn’t be a problem. We were seated quickly, and our orders taken promptly by some very helpful and attentive staff. When the...food arrived it was excellent, and the portion sizes were far beyond what we had expected for the price. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food (which ranged from a traditional roast dinner to a club sandwich), and the Mullins ice cram afterwards. Would definitely go again.

My wife and i were out for a drive today and as we came into Millisle, Co Down, we spotted this cafe/restaurant called J&R's Grill. So we pulled over and decided to have lunch. The surroundings are quite nice, looking into the main street, not...massive but cosy. The staff were more than helpful and brought us the menu's, i ordered cod and chip's with tea, bread and butter, my wife had the chicken goujon's. Well the servings we got were massive, a lovely well done cod and nicely done chips , alas i couldn't finish it, there was just too much for me but really lovely, my wife's goujon"s were massive, beautiful white chicken breast nicely battered with salad and a very nice sweet chilli sauce...

"We have eaten in Grace Neill many times the food has always been very good and we enjoy the live music. Tonight we booked a table for 4 in the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed lovely starters and main courses. The problem arose when we realised that the table was flooded with water, my husband’s trousers were soaking and my dress could have been rung out. We drew this to the attention of the waitress who went and got the manageress. We suggested that the ice bucket was leaking. The manageress said this was unlikely, held it up in the air and then admitted that it was in deed leaking. She offered me some ‘blue towels’ to dry my dress off and when I declined she offered to take me ‘into the disabled toilet’, which I found rather bizarre and also declined. When the bill came £191) no gesture had been made to compensate for soaking our attire. I took the bill to the girls at the till and asked them to have another look at it, in light of our soaking clothes. The manageress returned to the table, with a new bill, having deducted an amount by way of compensation, for which we were grateful, but then she proceeded to comment that I had been rude to staff. Ironically, we found this comment rather rude in itself and also totally unnecessary. Having admitted that our dining experience was not perhaps 100%, it was rather counter productive to then claim we had been rude. It also further exacerbated our dissatisfaction. A disappointing end to what should have been another lovely meal in our local pub. Perhaps some management training in customer service would be useful."
