"We had an absolutely fantastic lunch here in the afternoon. The host was so accommodating and friendly and explained every dish to us and where the ingredients came from. They clearly put an enormous amount of love and care into everything they offer their guests. There was a fabulous assortment of cold and hot appetizers, two fresh and light pasta dishes and meat grilled practically in front of us. Plus, we stayed so long that we ended up seeing the sun set over the mountains. Gorgeous place and gorgeous people, will be coming back to stay for a couple of nights in the future."

"I never imagined going to generous polizzi and finding a restaurant with a sewing fusion. the restaurant is very nice, to enter you cross stone corridors and an internal bay that leads to an external court with hedges and fountains. the place is quite large, well finished and characteristic. the menu offers a wide choice, very interesting the initial description of the kitchen and the oats products. many combinations that combine tradition and innovation. well-successful dishes, the only note is that in reality, the curry chicken is more a broth something that had not been happened during the order, but still good. courteous and kind staff, simple and almost familiar atmosphere. the price, perhaps, slightly high, but justified by the quality of the food and the presentation of the dishes, and also by the research behind it. Ultimately, absolutely recommended"

"We enjoyed our meal here, but given the rave reviews I was expecting something really outstanding. The food was all very nice, and the servings were generous. But it wasn't significantly better than other simple restaurants we've been to. Sadly, from the list of about 8 delicious sounding desserts, only two were available. Admittedly, we arrived around 2.00 for lunch and the restaurant closes at 2.45, but by the time we left at just after 3.00 we got the feeling the owners were keen to close up. It's quite a large restaurant and quite formally laid out, so with just a few diners in for lunch it felt rather stuffy, but this would probably change with more customers in the evening. The owners spoke English, luckily, and were able to explain the menu to us. Prices were very reasonable for the good quality food."
