The food is tasty and cheap. The Tiramisu is the best I've ever eaten, and I also think it's homemade. The staff is always in good mood and very polite.

Very tasty, quickly prepared and very nice and competent staff! Since corona-based food can only be collected, I feel that Il Porcino has become even better. I usually come a few minutes earlier, then I get the pizza completely fresh in my hand and often eat the first piece right outside the door. Really the best Italian in Augsburg.

I have known the Il Porcino since my period of study in the 1990s and always, when I am in Augsburg, I like to go to dinner there. It is a beautiful Italian restaurant located on the edge of the university grounds. The ambience is very appealing, the atmosphere is relaxed, the service is fast and friendly, the food is excellent and at the same time extremely inexpensive. What is more beautiful than sitting on a Saturday evening in cold rainy weather in a very nice Italian restaurant. In advance we had reserved for four people, but then spontaneously became five. When we called about 1 hour before and asks if it would be okay to bring someone else this was without problems. Our food came to the table as quickly as our order was received. The pizza was very tasty and made me sick. For dessert there was a Panna Cotta. This was especially convinced by the very delicious strawberry sauce. Il Procino is a good Italian restaurant close to the university and is ideal for a cozy restaurant visit for students. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas, pasta dishes and other Italian dishes. The pizzas are beautifully large and well covered. Thus the price-performance ratio is correct. The waiting times are reasonable, you don't have to wait too long for your ordered dish. The service can also be seen: you are always kindly hosted and are also open to the wishes of the guest. The waiters are consistently friendly, though sometimes when full is slightly stressed. Pizzen come from the wood stove and are very good. The prices are more in the lower range, and the Il Porcino would tend to be rather cheap. Examples from the menu: spaghetti with tomato sauce for 4,90€, spaghetti Carbonara for 6,40€, pizza salami for 6,90€, tiramisu for 3,90€.
