I have added a photo of my dinner. It was barely cooked at all my steak was meant to be well done and if you look at the pic it was not by a long way it took about 10 mins for any staff to...even ask about my dinner the staff looked like all they wanted to do was go home . Voir le carte

some friends and I visited to use the government 50% discount scheme mon weds . the waitress that served us, called clare and exceptionally rude when we enquired about this scheme. eating was only average compared to previous...Visits .is this because of the 50% discount? customer service has made this visit bad

Hate negative reviews but unfortunately the Chef or cook on the Wednesday night was slap dash and to be frank it seemed simply not interested or qualified. I have added a photo of the batter around my fish. It was barely cooked and not...crisp. I used to be a Chef and it seemed it was put in oil that was not hot enough and therefore soaked up the oil. Drenched in oil See the dead Tomato end on the plate. The bit you throw away! This came from my sons burger. Who does that? All the chips needed one more minute to become crispy and golden. I am sure the waitress noticed a lot of the food and all batter was left

Average food and an average experience. Some items such as the curry and gammon are decent enough but others such as the steak and ale pie really aren't with very little steak and what is inside is tough, fatty and chewy. The cauliflower bites were like baby food inside with mushy cauliflower and the batter' was like rubber rather than being crisp. Also, a starter we ordered to come with our main courses was missed off and we had to go to the bar to ask for it. After our main courses we ordered some dessert for our kids, initially we tried ordering the apple crumble but that wasn't available, so we had the brownie, then the lemon sorbet but that wasn't available so this ended up as chocolate...
